TaxMileage - GPS Mile Tracker

I have been using this app for over 2 years and have enjoyed it until recently. Several months ago I noticed the ending trip mileage want accurately reflecting ending odometer mileage. Depending on the length of trip, the app was sitting tracked mileage anywhere from 10-60 miles. When emailing support, I was told I had an outdated version of the program, which was incorrect. I have the most recent version that is in the Play Store. I also needed to change email, which is your login, however, I was informed that they cannot update the email. I would have to create a while new account and lose ask the previous data permanently. Was a great program while it worked. Going to find a new program since I can't afford to have my actual mileage understated each day.

So I've been using this app for several years. Today when i tried to get my report for tax season, i noticed that they hiked the price from 10 dollars a year to 30. THAT is unfair and cruel, especially when there was no previous notice to the consumer.

I downloaded a few different mileage apps but they weren't the right ones for what I needed, I can edit the purposes and dollar amount to what I need. It keeps track of the miles and how much I'm earning for each trip. When I get my pay stub I can check to see if I get paid the right amount now... Love this app!

COSTS at least $30 to get your data

They tell you its free but to access your reports they want payments. There should be a paid version of this ap for no more than $5. Instead they say go to the website and demand $30. Ridiculous and too expensive. Thanks for wasting my time. Uninstalling and going back to milog where I only paid $4 (ONCE) for the full version.

The app works really well..

Its not alot of money Very reasonable & the person u speak w/ is so very nice understanding listens & passionate They R truly out 2 help you Even after i told them i didnt have the money 4the program they treated me w/ respect & listened 2 me & responded If i had the cash i would use this app 1 cuz sum ppl have issues that need 2 b seen @ that moment Waiting 4 an appoint could b 2 late. 2 its convenient & with no judgements i Recommend this

Best app out there. Problem is it says it's free, until you attempt to access the reports you need. Then they want $9.99. Going to pay it but I'm not going to be happy about it. You should know up front not find out after using it for 6 months you have to pay to get what you need to file your taxes.

I lost data on multiple trips because I closed the program when I swiped through my open programs to save battery life. Most significantly on a multi week, cross country trip. The answer i get from them is "you can always add trip information after the fact." So write it down? Kinda defeats the purpose. It'd be easier to just make it possible to save the data of a trip, then go back in to finish entering the data. If the app had that 1 simple change this would be a 5 star program.

I have used the app for a few years and it handles an unlimited amount of trips. The trip info is stored in the cloud and allows me to switch phones without concerns. Great app.

The app works really well..

I've been using this app for 2 years without any problems. In the last couple months, twice I've gotten "database errors" when I tried to save my trip. I'm a paid subscriber & if a trip doesn't save, it costs me money. The website's contact link isn't working either. Anyone have a recommendation for an app that works all the time? This wasn't the first time is happened as suggested below. I've hit emails from support the first time it happened & it was down for >24 hours. Recently, it resolved in the a.m.

Most used app

This app was working fine and then I get hit with this error making the app unusable. Support and respons time is terrible. Still waiting on support for the issue.....

Constant "database error" in app, unable to select source or vehicle on website. Used to work fine, totally worthless now

Can't login and not accurate logging

I thought this was the answer to keeping track of my mileage. Worked great the first couple of trips. Now, I start a trip, take a picture of the odometer, start gps, and start driving. The entire time, the notification is at the top. When I go to end the trip, the gps is at 0, and the pic of my start odometer is not accessible. What's going on?

It doesn't matter what I select cancel or confirm when trip is incomplete the application loses my miles! ! 450 mi so far... Not happy...

It was nice to have GPS but my battery just couldn't take it even when I was plugging in all day long it just ate too much battery also when I would touch a trip to get more detail it gave me none couldn't see my route or even the last day of mileage

But now.....no such luck. Can't get it to record business mileage only charity, medical,and moving. Doesn't record my mileage most of the time. Emailed from app trying to get resolved with no response.

Work's great if you remember to turn it on and off between stops and hit save manually constantly. Not so great if your battery died from excessive gps tracking. WILL NOT SAVE PREVIOUS TRACKING DATA. If your phone dies or your app force closes or you reboot your phone kiss your tracked miles goodbye. This app even likes to tease you by letting you know you have unsaved data. No way to save it. So not helpful.

After trying many options, I choose this app for these reason: 1. It works 2. It backs your data on the cloud 3. If you loose your phone you will not loose your trips. 4. It works only when I start a trip, and it does only records trips that I can in fact log in my reports, 5. It gives you the ability to log ALL information required to build a COMPLETE report... Many times I had logs disputed because the app did not collect all the data such as a picture of the odometer, the initial and end odometer

At the end of the year, the app owners/support will play dumb that their system does not send the "free" summary report out correctly, and point you to the paywall. They log everything all year and then ask for payment if you want it back. You can't even get a "number of miles" count. DO NOT GET TRICKED by these charlatans. Use a different app.

Won't connect to let me make an account.

Just what I was looking for to keep track of my miles as a Real Estate Licensee and photographer. I had a small glitch with my account and the costumer services folks fixed it without a problem - super friendly and fast. Highly recommend this app.

Evidently my email doesn't exist so I can't even use the app

If your device resets or loses power the program doesn't always give the option to save the data on hand. Also, there is no option to go back and quickly review your miles on individual trips unless you log on to their website. You are better off using pencil and paper than relying on this app.

To get a report, they want their hand in my pocket. e.g. never logged a mile with them.

Can not correct errors

Doesn't tell you that to print out a report, you need to pay. Ineffective.

This app has all the features you need to properly file and report. I'm using it to track my mileage for medical expenses related to the treatment and care of diabetes. I would like a more friendlier user interface and that remembers your purpose and destination so i didn't have to retype every time.

The tracking if mileage is nice, and fairly simple. But I have no idea why it gives so many notifications. This app is in my notification bar more often than all my others combined, and I'm including texts here.
