ZooConnector for Android
It couldn't find where I was when GPS was on, only showed map but not where I was on the map. Couldn't find any features other than map to guide or inform. It worked very slow and I got sick of every time using the program having to choose which zoo again even though I was still there. It really did nothing at all to help me except show me what the map of zoo was and that is easier to see on paper map the zoo gives us. I thought it could find us and show us on the map which would have been a huge help. Rated it 2 stars for great street viewpoint of zoo, otherwise would have been a 1...not at all impressed. Removing it now because it also drained battery quickly and I have an upper level smart phone (Galaxy 6s) with unlimited data, high speed, everything else on the phone worked fine today when I tried to check if it was signal problems, so it wasn't signal strength. ........... in reply to /ZooConnector's reply, it did show the icons representing the exhibits but when I hit the GPS it would not show my location, I made sure my GPS/location was on and I did have plenty of signal strength and tons more than enough data.
The app is like a really old website. The pictures overlaid on the map don't look very good. The pictures taken from within the app are not clear. When you first download it the app asks for name, phone, and email... It wouldn't let me enter my full email. When searching for my zoo it was very clunky.
Yeah, it could use some work, but it's a good idea and it is kinda cute in a quirky kind of way. My complaint though is that the main reason I wanted it was for the zoo pics feature and I couldn't find it anywhere. I thought my kids would really have fun with that. Maybe it got taken out?
But bad graphics. Writing difficult to read.. Doesn't scale well for large device. Ui could be cleaner.. Will keep an eye on it.
Porn film
The app is not very responsive and the user interface is clumsy looking and patched together..Some zoos do not have any exhibit data at all. Other zoos have outdated and inaccurate/missing locations for the exhibits. Besides looking at oversized icons overlayed on a Google map there are no other useful features. I was very disappointed. Waste of time.. uninstalling. This app needs a lot of work..
I was hoping to be able to see map and exhibit but map looked like a generic map, when you zoom in pictures is still super fuzzy. Not easy to navigate...... great concept...... I'm in Cleveland Ohio
Dumb,,, u should have the actual map of park
New note: cool app found Brookdield zoo. Very helpful, thanks Old note: I was looking for a app for Brookfield Zoo. No help.
Samsung j5. Totally unresponsive. Call up paignton zoo and you can't open it. Tap help and nothing happens. You need a new programmer guys.
This appears to pull maps from Google Maps and add ads to the display.
Every time I tried to search it stops working. Very frustrating! After three tries I gave up. Too bad, I was going to am aquarium and this app COULD have been helpful.
Freezing all the time
I was looking for a app for Brookfield Zoo. No help.
This app is helpful as long as you have internet access. St Louis Zoo was spotty at best.

Used it at the Brookfield Zoo. It helped me out. Would have given it 5 stars of it showed food.
This app needs to get more integrated with the zoos. The zoo features/animals and paths are more clearly identified so this can be a useful app.
Used it at the NC zoo. Though it was a little out of date, it still kept us on track.
I love zoos and went to a few and used this app there. It worked like a charm. And it seems better than the paid ones!
No info on animals/exhibits and only mapped out a few animal locations...
I like how clean and quick the interface is. My zoo is listed! Can't wait to track myself when I get there.
It's a cool app. The only bad thing about it is that the Oklahoma City Zoo map is way outdated.
I was in Brookfield Zoo in the Chicagoland area. I had misplaced the paper zoomap that was given to us. And took a chance to see if this zoo had a app. To my surprise I found this application. It helped tremendously. The only problem is I wish it had more help instructions on how to pinpoint point of interest. And it should be more updated.

Not worth it... No info on animals/exhibits and only mapped out a few animal locations...
Pretty nice for free Used it at the Brookfield Zoo. It helped me out. Would have given it 5 stars of it showed food.
Not what I hoped This app needs to get more integrated with the zoos. The zoo features/animals and paths are more clearly identified so this can be a useful app.

Has great promise, but not quite dialed in yet. I wish the development team well and hope they keep trying. My local zoos (San Diego Zoo and San Diego Safari Park) really dropped the ball with their app, which they no longer offer. They erroneously concluded people weren't interested in an app when the reality is no one was interested in how poorly THEY did their app. This app has the chance to be better than that and be the superior replacement. What it needs is to show (1) hours of operation, (2) where restrooms, food, and emergency medical stations are at, and hopefully (3) show times. If you can do that then this is the app to beat the zoo's failed efforts. Good luck.
