You must add scheduling capabilities and on the music to use streaming services as source. Also on the music function allow the strings to operate independent and have more than color change and intensity change. Allow them to dance so to speak

App is good but wish 0 for speed was actually 0, could go slower. Also the box interferes with antenna TV signals. Looking forward to more options.

More customization please. Awesome product! Wish there was a timer options with auto on/off scheduling in the app, and more customizable light patterns plz!

These lights are fun, but they need to have the ability to be integrated with home automation systems like wink, smart things, Google home, etc.

Good app. Needs some cleaning up and a better user friendly GUI. Oh and for you parinoid people. It wants access to your camera cause you can take a picture of a color. And needs to access your music. Great app.

Lights are LED no heat at all and can last who knows how long . Wonderful tree very beautiful and fun for kids and Dads to make endless adjustments to light show . One of my top purchases ever . Can not believe I got it at 50% off for $257

Thanks for such a Great set of Lights! Can't Stop Watching Them, I Got them for my Camper,Love the different setting,and everyone loved them.Love how it also sets the mood with any color! Will invest in more! So will they.

These lights are awesome! Only complaint would be no timer options in the app, and light pattern customization is limited to 3 choices. Please add more customizable light patterns!!

Decided to spend my cash on "dumber" motion LEDs that don't need access to my personal life to twinkle.

When they used to work, they were great. Without a functional app to operate them, they're an extremely expensive, useless ornament. Followed all troubleshooting to cut thru the wifi mess to no avail. When the control box connects to my wifi router, says connected, no internet. Go try and scan for it in the app as directed, FAIL. Can't connect either via wifi or direct methods, apparently requires internet connectivity (which BTW is fine with my router's home networking). What a $$$ waste

I wish I could keep it full time, but it causes my camera to freeze and crash while it is installed.

How is there no scheduling functionality? Also missing integration with other wireless protocols.

There are a lot of pre-built functions, but you can only use "chase" with the pre-built and cannot create a custom chase. If a custom chase was available I would 5 star.

You can't play music that isn't downloaded onto your phone, so you can't use Google play music, Spotify, or anything else like it. It would be a great app if you could

Works pretty well. I wish it had an airplay or chromecast option to play the music. Not just play from my phone speakers

it needs an option to recover passcode in case it's forgoten such like in my case i can't seem to be able to reset it ..HELP!

Please update everything these light could be so much better with more options!

My biggest complaint is no automatic on or off. Would be awesome to integrate with Wink also! Wish the customization was a little more. Also, wish you could edit the factory functions or had more control. Select the ones you want to cycle would be a good feature too.

I'm very disappointed that there's no scheduler!

We recently purchased and installed 2 starter kits and 13 add-ons. Still have yet to get all the lights to be controlled with a function and the customer service has not returned our phone calls to help trouble shoot. Hoping someone will contact us very soon to help us get our lights working, otherwise we will be taking these down and returning them to the store.

App need some major changes. Not a lot of options. Quite disappointed!

Bought the tree at 50% off last year. Got home, set up and connected to app.. LOVED this tree. Set up the tree today (a year later), connected to app and all I get is blue lights, will not change colors NOTHING! Just blue lights. My kids are so disappointed cause we were going to decorate and now I don't want to cause I hate the blue lights. Tried to call the 800 number and can only call during working hours. How do people that work get to fix issues?

Had these lights since Halloween. Did have some issues at first. Contacted customer service and they were extremely helpful and prompt. With these lights we won 3rd place in our neighborhood lighting contest. If you have an issue contact them and they will help. Much of our issues were becuase of us and not the product

Works OK, but I really hope in the long-term Philips brings the Illuminate product line into the Hue family with similar capability of integrating into home automation systems. Currently, the only way to control these Illuminate lights seems to be this application and I haven't really found a community around this product yet.

I have had 300 lights with two control boxes networked to my home network all xmas season. My wife loves how she can have a different pattern every night. I will be getting more for next season!

The app is mediocre at best. You would think an option to program on/off times would be part of a smart phone app. It's not. The lights that you control with this app are total garbage. Dead leds right out of the box and lights that would quit working after a couple of days. If I could rate zero stars I would.

It's a nice concept, but we have to keep resetting the WiFi "box", which is rather annoying. We've contemplated retuning it several times, but then we get it to work, and we keep hoping it'll last. We're optimists. Also, it's 2 days before Christmas. Maybe re-installing the app will work? Sigh.

Good concept but like other reviews poor quality lights. Red doesn't work out of the box on 2 of 25 lights. Disappointed

Would be nice to have better custom options to where you could add bidirectional and chase. Also add the ability to set a timer for the lights since they connect to wifi the lights could use ntp or sync time with phone or add icon on notification bar to remind you your lights are still on.

Software is a little clunky. Can only dance to music when played in the app which is bizarre given today's world of using apps like Spotify. Very little documentation. Limited customization. Feels thrown together at the last minute. But, it technically site l does it's job of changing colors albeit not wonderfully. Would love to control the lights with another program if an API was made available.

I don't recommend buying the lights for this app. There was no quality control when releasing this product. You have a 75% chance that one of the leds on a 25ft add on kits won't work (usually red led). How can a company as big as Philips charge 50 dollars for every 25ft with 75% fail rate!!! Shame on them!!! ..... App is OK would be better if you could access it from any wear via Internet

I had bought 2 hub packs & 3 addons. Got home & found that red on 1-2 bulbs was out on 4 of the 5 light strings. I exchanged the bad ones & 3 of 4 also had bad bulbs. Worst part is you can't replace the bulb. If one led goes out the whole strand needs replaced or sent to Philips to fix, that takes 6-8 weeks they said. Major bummer! I really wanted them. Everything else was awesome and worked well and I had no issues setting it up. Guys please make bulbs replaceable. Will save us all the headaches. Thanks.

The app is ok. The biggest improvement that could be made is updating the app to allow for the lights to be controlled by streaming music, through Pandora or You Tube. I want to play our tree's lights to music but do not care to download hours of Christmas music to my phone. :/

Bought starter kit and 2 extenders, realized not all the lights would light and exchanges 3 different starnds 3 times. Finally got all three strands to work for a second or two before it stopped working correctly. After changing the order of strands and playing with the connection ports I manage to get 2 of the 3 working. Insult to injury, the colors were off from the 2 stands. Awesome idea but not worth buying multiple boxes just to get working lights and god forbid you pit them up and they malfunction...
