LED Magic Color Controller v2 for Android
Does not work, after I installed it, when I opened the app & tried to use it, it said that it was no longer available an gave me a link to download something else.... Don't waste your time
Doesn't work for Android and not sure when they will ever upgrade
Need more customization and the ability to do different modes in one setup. Such as gradual change and strobe. 5 stars when update comes out
Can't get it to connect at all. Waste of money.
Doesn't find my devices suddenly, used to work fine, not finding anything anymore
I use this to control my rgb LEDs. I hung these so I could change the colors for the holidays. The programmable mode is pretty good, but I wish it gave you the options to set specific colors. Going around the color wheel is a bit cumbersome. It would be nice if the programmable mode had the numbers for each color so you could reproduce and adjust the colors. Also, the blinking timing could use some more options. It feels as if there are only two settings, regular and seizure....
A little fiddly to setup and confusing setup instructions but once done works well. Would like to see more from the app like being able to easily pick exact colours. I don't find the colour wheel exact enough.
I've used this app with my bulb for about a year and now and suddenly the WLAN "LEDnet********" stopped appearing in the Wi-Fi options menu in my phone's settings.
Purchased a bulb. Downloaded the app and followed the directions on the box, which are the only directions provided until you download the app (which is mostly in broken Engrish). Still doesn't detect the bulb. Most expensive lightbulb I ever intend to purchase.
Was excited to receive this but now that I have it installed the app can't even connect to the bulb. Now I just have a $30 LED bulb.
The instructions are vague and not translated properly. I was able to connect to the SSID generated by the device, downloaded the Magic Color v2 app and was able to scan and find the controller but the app would not connect. I could restart the controller and at one point I did the factory restore from the app. Tried pairing the supplied remote for 20 minutes, no luck. Installed the old RGB controller and called it quits.
Please add time schedule for the lamps to turn on or off at specific times, maybe with color choices at each time?....Also when you enter from windows internet explorer on the IP of the lamp it will ask you for user&password...what is the correct?
Galaxy S5 user here. Total waste of money! I want a refund! Such crap!
Always disconnecting while trying to change colors or turn the module "on" or "off"
It really isnt controlled by music function
Very nice
Doesn't connect Motorola Turbo
Boo
Works Ok, and I have a Note 3. Would really like to have a tab/page with custom presets, not just the multi-mode ones, allow single color presets. I also run this on my Jeep android head unit, can't see the bottom of the app on that screen.
I went through a few over priced controllers from Halo suppliers. This app/controller combo is the best one in have used to have full control of the leds. Works on my iPad Air, iPad mini, iPod 4th gen and 5th gen, Note 3 running 5.0, Samsung Note 10.1, LG G2 and Galaxy S3. Those of you having issues are probably using the wrong app for the wrong controller.
Two enhancements please 1) option to manually enter ip address of units into app instead of scan?, 2) can music mode vary colour as well?
Worked fine at first. Now will not connect at all. This app needs fixed.
Program ise very good. But could be some choice too; 1- should be a button for only pusch button. I mean, lamps will on when you touch screen and will off when you untouching.. Like to use mors alfabeth 2- Widget size must be resize when necessary. But size is standart and can't change 3- should have buttons seperatly RGB. I can control only color disk. Can add 3 buttons for control RGB channels seperatly. And also this buttons can be control like push button. Thats all 3 is missing in my opinion. Last negatif point... Can se anybody productor name of device? Nowhere write that who product this. I wanted contact with them for bigger trade.

Installed in my car on a android dvd head unit and the app does not fully show on the screen
It says that it can't find a device??? Someone explain this because I don't understand this
It's a good app but there is an issue where you switch modes like a stationary color to a rotation, it loses the brightness setting. Can this be fixed?
Won't connect to my htc one m8
Needs support for google play music. Doesn't recognize downloaded google music in app.
The old version works ok
Love everything about this app. I only wish they would a way to turn on and off power the lock screen. Widget works great too.
I got it fully working through the router. I'll admit it is very buggy, had to restart my phone +10 times in the mist of getting it to work. I figured it out that it WILL NOT work with 5ghz wireless bands, stick to 2.4ghz hopefully that helps you guys out.
Best app for controlling your led
Waste of money. Please fix the problem
I switched to this controller from a sound controller that was operated infrared remote. I did like the convenience of being able to control throughout the house and the more section options. Currently I'm having issue reconfiguring the controller to work with a router, that way I can still use my house Wifi and control leds. It is saying the password must be 9 or 13 characters, due to encryption, our wifi password is set at 10 characters. It worked before update Wifi password.
Why is networking mode bound to AP name. The controller is not dual band wifi capable like my phone so I have to change APs just to configure when technically it is the same LAN.
took an hour to finally connect them . but would still not work all together and now it won't pick up at all on my galaxy s5 or my iPad mini. Spent a lot of money on these lights and I just can't get them working right. Very disappointed.
Great to connect directly and change lights but USELESS when trying to make it part of the network so you can still be on normal wifi and change the lights. Quite Lame really.
I bought some 3-color controllers, and this was the software their instructions said to install. Everything connected up OK. But it doesn't recognise the 3-color controller, so it works as a 1-color controller :(
