Historiska Kärnan

Här kan du se en virtuell representation av hur området runt Kärnan såg ut på 1500-talet.

Runt borgområdet står den gamla ringmuren som hade en omkrets på cirka 500 meter och som omgavs av 14 halvrunda försvarstorn.

Byggnaden med det gröna taket intill ringmuren var s:t Mikaels kapell. Rester av kappelte påträffades år 1900 men grävdes inte fram förrän 1932.

Runt tornborgen ser vi den tjocka mantelmuren och mantemurens trapphus som leder in till borgen. Gunden till mantelmuren trapphuset finns fortfarande kvar idag. Here you can see a virtual representation of the area around the core appeared in the 1500s.

Around the castle area is the old city wall which had a perimeter of about 500 meters and surrounded of 14 semi-circular towers.

The building with the green roof next to the city walls was St Michael's Chapel. Remains of kappelte discovered in 1900 but were dug not arrive until in 1932.

Round tower castle we see the thick mantle wall and mantemurens stairwell leading up to the castle. Gunden to shell wall staircase is still there today.
