Oil Light Reset Pro for Android
Oil Reset Pro is the best free oil light reset app I have used. I have used plenty as well as going on Google and searching and this app is the best. It is, however, not 100% accurate, but is +90% accurate. It is easy to use and has almost every solution to reset the oil light. Only problem now is it doesn't go past 2015...
I spent some time with this and simular apps. This is the only reliable oil light reset app out as of this time. Pros are, easy to use, most models available to the American market ( have not yet run into a car that is not in the app) accurate information, cons are, offline crash till WiFi or another Internet connection is established (rare). This app saves time and frustration keep up the good work. Maybe studies into vin decoding for offline use
Do you think manufacturers can get it any harder. Had a hard time figuring out the reset for Toyota highlander hybrid. This app made it simple.
Always have people asking me if I reset their oil change light. Never knew how till I found this app. Now it takes just a few minutes to do a reset.
Would pay for no ads. The ads are ridiculous but it helps to have this app as a lube manager. I wish an update happened to include 2017 cars as I'm seeing a lot of them.
Usually pretty accurate. Had a couple cars it didn't work on...but hard to be perfect with thousands of different....typically ridiculous procedures...
Not current info. You buy it and still have to watch ads. Rip off.
If this crap is not working again pls take it off play store. Let stop the deceive. You want to be rated for crap
The select vehicle page isn't appearing at all
Use this app at work and love it, I typically use it for the trickier ones but came in handy when I first started my job.
I work at shop so I have to do oil light reset everyday and sometimes the information we have is not available on all cars and this helps out a lot this does not include every car but it helps on most of the cars we service thumbs up for this app
This is a great app, with all these new cars they all have different way of resetting the oil lights, but with this great app it helps me a lot. Thank you and keep up the good work.
I use this app at work a lot to reset any oil light that's out there. This app is good for what I use it for and it works on new models and old models..this is a very Handy tool for my daily job.
But it stop working recently and I have checked it for an update
My go to app at work when I get a car and unsure how to reset the light . Hasn't failed me yet.
Unable to use the app in nexus 6p which it's running android 7.1
Some vehicles not listed and my version ends at 2015 even though i have latest version apparently. All in all though i find it very useful on a daily basis.
Clicking on select vehicle shows loading and nothing happens. Uninstalling.
The procedures are nice but oil capacity and viscosity is info I really need to go with it.
ok isuzu renault citroen peugeot to name a few are not on the list and i quote " if there is no procedure for the vehicle, then the vehicle dosent have a maintenance reminder light" well as per usual this is the nar making claims that are false, the procedures work on listed cars but dont make claims that you can not back up as i named some manufacturers that have maintenance/service lights, better off buying a database if your running a business rather then relying on free apps, its just business sence
App could use an update for current model year vehicles. App will sometimes forget I paid for it and display ads.
Just whip out your phone/triscanner and look up the make-model-year and your info is there.
It dosent update for new years and not correct
Now only if they had a transmission adaptation reset app and one to program key remotes, id be set
Pish app doesn't even have renault
Great app for on the go techs that do not want to sit still an look up a procedure. But rather on your phone
It's fast and convenient which allows for a more accurate reset..... Thanks
It's great but I'm still having to restore my purchase to remove ads almost once a week.
For me being a lube tech in a shop that we work on cars from other makers than we work on, this is by far the best app looking up how to reset oil life/maintenance messages. Using it for more than a year and never let me down. Wish for more video footages to see how the procedures go. But i really cannot complain much with the many pros this app has with barely any cons to it.
Car only had about 600 miles on it when "Service required now" indicator came on. Apparently tech entered wrong date (in addition to mileage) for during new vehicle PDI for first oil change service. This happened on Saturday night, and dealership is 90 miles away. I was able to easily reset date.
Paid for pro + still have to watch 5 sec video adds every time SCAM
I give this ap five more stars! I work at a shop and we have multiple oil changes and so far this app hasn't let me down ONCE!
Great app. Hard to memorize every single procedure out there even after decades in the car repair business. This app saves lots of time looking for the reset procedures up on professional shop information like Identifix, ALLDATA, or MitchellProDemand. Less trips to computer and saving paper, faster results.
Great app overall, a must for us lube techs. Expanded vehicle coverage would earn that 5th ☆
I use it at work, it helps me alot, I don't have to use YouTube to find out how to do oil lights I use this app instead
I was working on an 08 suzuki xl-7. There are no listings for suzuki.
I paid to have the adds removed but they were not. Many vehicles are not listed.
Don't have to check owner's manuals or web search any more. The procedures are spot on!
This is a very useful app use it very ofter

Kinda disappointed because there is no updates for the 2016 nd 2017 model vehicles. I have figured out majority of them already myself since my shop does a lot of work for enterprise car rental. I'm thinking of the people who do their own oil changes and smaller shops that don't deal with the new cars as much.
