Your personal productivity is important, and for that, we have UVS ToDo.


Take your ideas from thoughts to action plans to progress summaries with a minimum of key strokes. Input your ideas as short notes. Import necessary supporting documents as attachments. Break it down into any number of check list steps to which you can assign due dates, or implement meeting schedules. Ensure compliance through advance reminders, daily task summaries, alarms, and past due notifications. Easily handles recurring tasks such as monthly bill reminders and your Tuesday/Thursday yoga class.

Organize the information into a tree hierarchy for mental convenience. Group by work and personal, by project, or any way that is relevant to you. Add passwords to gate snooping friends out of your private stuff. Copy a branch of your tree and email it to an associate for completion. Slice through the tree with daily, weekly, and monthly views to quickly find what is relevant in the here and now.

Easily supports many small business activities such as Real Estate (tm) which have specific legal and contractual check lists for showings, inspections, etc. prior to closing. Create generic templates that you can cut, paste, and personalize for each customer. Supports a special "fast edit" cursor that allows quick "one off" type customization of entire collections of tasks. A software developer could trivially implement a personal defect tracking system that allows for update notes and final problem resolution information. School teachers, and students can track class schedules and assignment due dates, and even share them with ease.

Mobile, tablet, or desktop, one app does it all. The display and navigation adapts to make the best use of the screen real estate. Although the initial releases will support only a small number of localizations for the user interface, you may enter text in any language supported by your Android (tm) device and input method. (NOTE: right to left and vertical languages are untested. Basic scripts such as English, French, and Cyrillic are well tested. Complex scripts such as Korean and Thai have received some testing and appear to work correctly although results are not guaranteed.)

The user can easily exchange or publish information to other users and instances of the application via email, Google Drive (tm), Dropbox (tm), or any medium capable of transmitting a file. Data is exchanged in a simple and easy to understand XML format making it possible for anyone with basic competency in Ruby, Perl, Python or other popular scripting language to provide their own custom integration with some favorite desktop or server application in the data center. We of course will strive to provide built in integration for common open protocols as the market develops.
