Manners Social Story

This app includes a 10 page social story about why it is important to be polite, and how to have good manners. The app also includes a simple visual support for using the polite phrases from the story. Perfect for preschool aged children, visual learners and children diagnosed with a social delay such as with an autism spectrum disorder.

The app opens up to a menu that allows the user to read the story, or access 9 buttons that “speak” when tapped saying polite phrases taught in the story such as “please,” “your welcome” and “excuse me.”

Certain individuals, particularly those with communication and social delays as someone diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder, may need more direct instruction in learning to common polite phrases and tips for having good manners.
