Das Herz des Slow Food-Vereins sind die lokalen Gruppen, genannt Convivien.
Hier kommen Menschen zusammen, die Genuss und Qualität im Alltag schätzen und kultivieren. Die von den örtlichen Convivien organisierten Veranstaltungen und Initiativen sind die Gelegenheiten, bei denen sich Mitglieder und Interessierte treffen und die Begeisterung spüren können, die das gesamte Slow Food Netzwerk verbindet.

- fördert eine verantwortliche Landwirtschaft und Fischerei, eine artgerechte Viehzucht, das traditionelle Lebensmittelhandwerk und die Bewahrung der regionalen Geschmacksvielfalt.
- bringt Produzenten, Händler und Verbraucher miteinander in Kontakt, vermittelt Wissen über die Qualität von Nahrungsmitteln und macht so den Ernährungsmarkt transparent.

The heart of the Slow Food association are the local groups called convivia.
Here people come together, appreciate the pleasure and quality in daily life and cultivate. The organized by the local convivium events and initiatives are the occasions when members and interested parties can meet and feel the excitement that connects the entire Slow Food network.
