Gegründet wurde das Hofor Racing Team von den Geschwistern Michael und Martin Kroll. Unterstützt werden sie durch Michaels Tochter Chantal Kroll und Roland Eggimann, einem langjährigen Freund der Familie.
Gemeinsam wollten Sie am grössten, anspruchsvollsten und faszinierendsten Motorsport-Event der Welt teilnehmen - dem 24h-Rennen am Nürburgring 2011. Um dieses Ziel zu erreichen, entschieden sie sich für den soliden BMW M3 E46 und der Teilnahme an der VLN Saison.
Ende 2012 entschieden sich die Brüder die Flotte mit einem Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 zu ergänzen. Bereits bei der ersten Teilnahme an den 24h Series in Barcelona 2013 konnten Michael und Roland, unterstützt von den bekannten Rennfahrern Kenneth Heyer (DE) und Christiaan Frankenhout (NL), den Gesamtsieg einfahren.

The Hofor Racing Team by siblings Michael and Martin Kroll was founded. They are supported by Michaels daughter Chantal and Roland Kroll Eggimann, a longtime family friend.
Together they wanted to take part in the largest, most demanding and fascinating motorsport event in the world - at the Nürburgring 2011. To achieve the 24-hour race this goal, they opted for the solid BMW M3 E46 and the participation in the VLN season.
The end of 2012, the brothers decided the fleet with a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 supplement. Already during the first participation in the 24 Series in Barcelona in 2013 were Michael and Roland, supported by the well-known racers Kenneth Heyer (DE) and Christiaan Frankenhout (NL), retract the overall victory.
