Time Mobile

I pay for Time magazine and amazingly I have to have advertisements in the app plus photos never appear. I just get the yellow circle of death (yes, I have set the setting to show photos)... The articles are very short. Only 3 sections available. There is simply no quality here. Seeing the age of other reviews, seems development on this app stopped years ago. At least the paper based magazine is... ok. Uninstalling the app.

This is one of the best android apps I have found. Time has always been a favourite source of information on US points of view on topics that matter. This app enhances that experience with easy navigation. It is also as resource frugal as one could wish for. Widget less than stellar. Thanks dev!

Great app. But at the top of every story I open I get a banner with a green android figure that says "webpage not available" though I'm able to open all stories. Not sure what that is. I have ATT Galaxy Note 2 with latest updated software. Just an FYI

It's the worst experience .. It takes too long to load. And its not even opening... How does a big organization like Time fail to have a working application? Try the Economist and you will love their app. Surely Time can just copy? Come on...

I think Time has updated/monetized its online & mobile content. I can't open the website on my Nook anymore, and this app--this version is 1.5 years old--doesn't function anymore. No refresh in over a month. Very disappointing; will uninstall.

Wouldn't load pictures, no idea how to navigate. Went from iPad app to this and its a completely different experience. Navigation and other buttons look terrible and granulated and blurry.

From the existing reviews it appears Time isn't maintaining this app. I'm a subscriber on a Samsung S6 Active with Android 5.1.1. No pictures show up, the required permissions to install are ridiculous (you don't need to know who's calling me), there's nowhere to enter subscriber information, and I keep getting a "Web page not available" error when navigating within the app. Please update this!

I was expecting more from this application since I paid the $2.99 monthly fee to read the articles/essays on this site. In addition to having a poorly made mobile application, there is nowhere for me sign into my premium account. This is a poor excuse for a mobile application from a "reputable" media source. Please avoid this application.

Only occasionally does a link open to the full article upon tapping. I don't recall having this problem with my Galaxy II phone. What gives? From other similar comments, it doesn't sound like it is just my phone that is at issue here.

Good way to read articles without having to load the main site. Very annoying habit of keeping random stories listed for months or linking to old stories as current, though.

Haven't been able to refresh the articles for ages now. Thought I'd reinstall but looking through the reviews the problem goes back to at least February. I guess the developer doesn't care so I'll just get rid of it.

"Scan this page" absolutely never works. I downloaded the app just to see extra content from the magazine (which I subscribe to). After spending 30 minutes hovering over my old issues of time like a fool I am uninstalling.

Not 2015 standard. App last updated in 2012. No subscriber login. Buggy, few sections only. Photos doesn't load. No response to app feedback. Does Time have an active app team? 'Time' to get one otherwise. Samsung Galaxy S5.

It used to work ok, but for the past few months, it doesn't update the stories. I don't know how many times I need to see that the SAT is getting a makeover... It's been months.

Every time I try to open the app, it tells me that it's offline and to try again later. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling it again, rebooting the phone, etc. Same issue. It's no my wifi since all other websites and apps arw working properly. Sad. I was looking forward to using this app.

While it was never the greatest app out there, the content was there and, as most Time subscribers will appreciate, that's mostly what mattered. Fast forward to a recent uninstall and reinstall and I've gone from no updates to no launch! I get an offline try later message followed by an app exit! A couple of boots and reinstallation are all in vain. Worst of all - no suggestions for a fix from Time.

For some reason everytime I open the app up the first time, the app freezes and doesn't open. So when I re open it, it finally actually opens. Then, every time I want to view "photos of the week," it refuses to load and says "no network connection" even when I clearly have a network connection. This is a bit disappointing from a company like Time.

I don't have any idea what is going on with the app. I see few stories, nothing international, political and most are outdated. Today is 11/8, election day and there is zero coverage of it in the app while the website is nothing but election (as it should be today). Looks like it is very outdated and doesn't pull most stories

Don't waste time on this app as you can have a Ph.D. In It and you cannot make this one work. The British Economist will do the same thing for you and they have IT down cold. TIME HAS HORRIBLE IT so don't wast you time on their bad IT. Time is important and time publishing doesn't understand their subscribers need to get things done in a timely way so try the Economist ....they have digital down. I just wasted a half hour on Time IT . Don't waste your time >.. It won't work.

Time magazine apparently thinks the world begins and ends with the US. Extremely user-unfriendly to users and subscribers outside US who want to download an app to their android devices. Get this: in the list of countries outside US they don't even show Austria. Time always rejects the correct details including subscriber number. Nothing helps!!

Content has not updated since November. This is the digital age. I would so prefer to read my time subscription on my phone. Time must finally be on the cutting edge of oblivion.

This app seriously needs an update. I can't fill in my subscription details and I'm becoming all the more disappointed in the website as well. Please fix it soon, as Time has great content that I would like to enjoy.

Hello anyone from Time there? What a terrible app, no updating, slow, horrible interface. I'm a new subscriber on a trial I will not be renewing..... There goes another customer!

Started out as an amazing app with almost 10 sections and plenty of interesting articles to read. Now it failed to update itself, after I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, there's only three sections(life, top stories...) left. Quite disappointing to sew how this app has become.

I reinstalled today due to the app not updating with more recent articles only to find that I'm now only have three sections- Top Stories, Lightbox and Life- of which too are of no interest. I can't get back US, World, Swampland etc. Very disappointed. Today (1/23/2016) almost two years after my last review I reinstalled to see if I could enjoy the app as I did before. No luck at all. Why am I limited to Top Stories, Lightbox, and Life?! If I could give zero stars I would.

No server access! Lost yearly subscription because apt isn't functioning correctly. Don't care? Obviously! Just read the negative reviews. They sting. Articles are two years old, or older! This apt is no longer supported.

This app is incredibly buggy they say they fixed the crashing issue with jelly bean it doesn't seem to work for me it doesn't come up its a mess app

I've had this app on various phones for about 5 years now. It was an amazing news app at first with multiple sections but it's content has been steadily shrinking. It's gone from 10+ sections to 3 and now down to 1. It stopped updating stories on weekends. And now it won't even load thumbnail pictures with the articles. Unless Time puts some effort into fixing this app, I'm probably going to uninstall it.

This absolute rubbish I have all access but can't find how to sign in. Even using it without all US news and it fails to update in anything like a reasonable time. I do not expect this from Time Inc after been a subscriber for many years.

The app asks for permission to EVERYTHING on my Android tablet, then doesn't even work. It seems to show some seriously outdated article headlines then won't even open them. What a disappointment. Love my paper copy but hate this worthless app. Removing the app now. Please fix it so we can use it!

As a subscriber, I enjoy my weekly "hard copy" of Time, but the Android app is useless. And it's not my device. The Galaxy S5 has plenty of horsepower; the Time app doesn't. It's a shame the developers can't write code that achieves the same level of quality that Time journalists exhibit in THEIR writing! Save yourself the frustration. Pan the app; buy the magazine.

I am a subscriber to Time Magazine and enjoy getting my weekly copy delivered to my home. However as I travel frequently, the thought of being able to ready my weekly subscription on-line while away from home was very appealing. How wrong was I. It appears that Time Mobile will only work if you own an iPad. Come on Time, get with the programme and fix your app, make it work on an Android device.

Would really appreciate an app update. The mobile browser web version is way better. The news stories are actually well written and timely. Uninstalling for now.

App crashes on my Note 3. Tried to install twice. No more time to be a beta tester right now. I'll continue using the website.

What used to be my favourite app has completely collapsed. It's as if they've sacked their entire social media department. When news organisations are moving towards digital platforms, TIME has gone backward. Just bizarre. Only three sections available when there used to be about 15 and they only seem to update news if they're in the mood.

Don't waste your time with this android version. There seems to be no way to log in to my subscription and all I ever get is a Web page not available error for every story.

It keeps telling ne "offline try again later" when i open the app with data connected. I can't see the front page not to mention login.

Used to work but now keeps saying no connection when there is one. Reinstalling did nothing. Also Play Magazine has not updated to the latest edition in over a week now.

Sports section has "Macho" Camacho's shooting which happen almost a year ago. He's already dead!!!!
