Wing Chun Technique

Wing Chun (mandarin: 詠 春; pinyin: yǒng chūn; literally meaning "spring song" or mandarin: 永春; literally meaning "eternal spring"), also spelled as Ving Tsun or Wing Tsun is a Chinese martial art and a form of martial arts that combines aggression and struggle and specializes in close-range combat.

Wing Chun is a very unique form of martial arts, specializing in close-range combat, using fast punches and kicks with tight defense and agility to move forward. An effective Wing Chun can be achieved by coordination between simultaneous attack and defense and counterattack.

Wing Chun practitioners must learn to throw the right amount of energy in a relaxed state. A good Wing Chun teacher will teach his students to cope with attacks by positioning and body structure rather than face-to-face. Wing Chun style includes kicks, parry, successive attacks, boxing, trapping and controlling techniques as part of the fight.

The technique of kungfu kicking practice of Wingchun is unique. In practice moves Wingchun, use a tool that is very typical of "stick-man" or often called "mok yan jong" or "wooden dummy". Basic training techniques that belong to the art of Wingchun martial arts there are only three, namely:

Simple thinking, that is basic movement and how to train so that students can generate the power of mind (siu tao nium).

Bruising the bridge, training the integration between the lower and upper movements of the body, as well as exercises with the opponent or spouse (jium ciu).

Finger shooting, the technique uses energy from the leg spin, also the center of the body (the plate), as well as the upper body (shoulder), known as biu jee.
