About Agricultural Engineering
Agricultural Engineering or Agricultural Engineering (UK: agricultural engineering) is the application of technical basis in agriculture covering the field of agricultural machine cultivation technique, agricultural natural resource engineering, farming / food processing technic, energy and electricity agriculture, workshop and instrumentation in field agriculture, agricultural tools and machinery ergonomics, agricultural engineering and management systems, environmental and agricultural buildings, as well as ground techniques and techniques of water resources. Agricultural techniques are a means of improving the efficiency of agricultural enterprises to improve productivity, quality, continuity of supply of agricultural products, farmer welfare, and environmental sustainability. Such efficiencies include land, labor, energy, and resources (seeds, fertilizers, and water).
Specialization in the field of agricultural engineering includes many things about the design of agricultural machinery processes and machinery. Agriculture in the broad sense is the activity of harvesting sunlight to be used for the welfare of mankind and the environment; this means covering the cultivation of agricultural crops, livestock, fishery, processing of agricultural products, until the agricultural products are ready to be consumed by the community.
Examples of specialties in agricultural engineering include:
design tools and agricultural machinery as well as agricultural building structures
cultivation of agricultural crops, including nurseries, soil cultivation, irrigation, and soil and water conservation
production of livestock and fisheries, including the design and construction of maintenance and processing facilities
design of foodstuff processing and other agricultural products
biological resource engineering, which uses the latest machinery and technologies to save the environment '
