Spectrum TV

This app will not let me sign in, continues to say something went wrong. I've uninstalled and reinstalled still does the same thing!

Does not allow Google Chromecast. Only select TVs allow download of the app fail.... Get with it. It's 2018

The app has been down 3 times this year and it's only the 8th. Stinks.

Trying to use dvr feature, NEVER works. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Frustrating

Why is there still no fullscreen support on android tv devices? Being a paying Spectrum customer of both internet and tv service, what are you afraid of? It's not like we get a lot of channels to stream. Only wanting your customers to view on mobile only is just silly.

This app is no longer working as advertised. Im not able to view the guide or record movies. Now when I click on the app, it doesnt recognize my password and forces me to reset my password. After doing so it takes me to the desktop main website. I already tried reinstalling the app. It's still not working. Please fix this app.

Can't access all channels while traveling. Absolutely crazy! If I'm home I will use the TV, not this app! As long as I have a Spectrum account, I should be able to watch from anywhere when I launch the app based upon my package subscription! Even Comcast does that!

Constantly reloading while on my home WIFI!!! This app. needs to be fixed in order for me to give higher rating!! By the way... The Spectrum app. for my Samsung UHD is no better!! I've tried it, and I mainly use my laptop to watch live tv. Which is a little bit better, and more stable

Ten years ago, both TiVo and Verizon FiOS had this figured out... Remote access and control to DVR. I just tried on iOS and Android and it's a no go. What a waste of time this company is.

This gets 1 star because everytime there is an update it logs me off.. It shouldn't be doing that.. Why doesn't it just leave me logged on?? It's a stupid mistake so that's why the 1 star.. Fix it and I'll gladly change the rating..

What happened? Since the last updates I only get error messages when I tried to schedule a recording. Used to be good and without problems at all when it was Brighthouse. Since Spectrum took over, the application always has trouble or problems after updates. EVERYTIME!!!

So buggy that I can't even change my password to get into the app. It keeps directing me anywhere else but where I actually need to go. Really upset about this as the app use to work really well.

Hey, Spectrum! I'm asking for help here! *This app is usually a relatively decent one, but since the last update I can not get my DVR list...NONE of it...and can not record/delete/etc or anything DVR related. Very very frustrating. Please fix and I'll rate the app higher.*

So many issues for what could be a good app. Blocked channels unless you're on home wifi, sound stops if you answer a text from the notification window, sometimes drops out if you change views in app, sometimes the picture won't clear up even on wifi. Spectrum has a lot of work to make a good app.

Useless. The only reason to have on a phone is to access shows when you are away from home. This app requires you to be connected to Spectrum's internet service for the channels you would most want to watch. You can't be connected to their internet service if you are away from home.

App worked great in beginning and I loved it. Now they have "something went wrong" pop ups and you haven't been able to program anything for well over a week. Spectrum customer service can just say, "we are aware of the problem". REALLY? This is alonnnng time.

This app is trash, so freaking expensives and all the channels that I want are left out except those that I don't freaking watch. Spectrum os trash???? good move they included my spanish soccer channel that I PAY FOR, otherwise that would have been so freaking stealing. Spectrum is TRASH************

Piece of junk. Rarely works. Assumes you have internet service through Crapcast. Then you discover its running all the time, gathering just what information on you????

Used to be able to schedule and review DVR recordings. Now I get a pop-up that tells me that I don't have a Spectrum receiver. Nothing has changed except the app updates.

Unreliable app. SEE ALL OTHER NEGATIVE COMMENTS for details. AT&T app w/previous service worked flawlessly. Spectrum is huge disappointment.

Contacted support several times about channels being locked in On Demand through my phone and tablet, even though they are included in my subscription and I can access them on the TV. Support tells me they are aware of this issue...great...but how about SOLVING THE PROBLEM??? Not happy at all with them...

First off great idea and somewhat of a good construct but this app is molt likely to freeze perfectly on a spectrum comercial everytime and i have ti shut the app off and sign back in and then watch the last e mins of comercials i just watched again and then watch about 10 to 15 mins of tv them it crashes again!!! And why wouldnt i be able to watch all the channels on my mobile data i pay for the service netdlix doesnt cut half the shows off for ne to watch whem i leave the house id even pay netflix premium for the app if it was promised to work propeRLY AND GIVE ME FULL ACCESS TO EVERY CHANNEL NO MATTER WHERE IM At! Keep it up youll get there!!

No option to cast.. Spectrum had me on phone over 45 minutes and still no help.. Thankful for the 30 day trial, would be a waste of money

Got called twice to sign up for a free 30 day trial of Spectrum TV. The Sales caller sells hard, heavy pressure, and conferences in a "Verification" department. The verification department repeats the same script and further congratulates the Sales caller on his sale. When I attempted to access the Spectrum App, using my login/pswd, it gives an error saying that I don't have TV service. I am well aware that I only have Internet service, and don't plan on adding TV package as the 50+ HD channels I get free over-the-air is sufficient for my family and I. So basically this is selling a service that I am unable to try out, so it is a big waste of time. Don't get fooled! Already have NF, Hulu, and Amazon. Spectrum is very very late to the party. Good effort for selling though. Be careful, and thanks for reading the whole review lol

I have not had cable TV in a while and after weeks of getting Spectrum letters I say ill give it a try cut on the Sony and look for the Android TV app thinking I will compare cable package against Internet TV.... NO ANDROID TV SUPPORT for your app so no customer for you.

I downloaded this app hoping I can watch when I am not home. I'm not trying to use a tablet or phone to watch this app at home. That's silly to me. Plus charter is expensive.

Used to use this app ALL the time.. but since the last update.. nothing works!! Even just tried uninstalling and reinstalling it! And reset/rebooted our cable box. still not working!!! Every time I try and record something or change the channel from my phone I get error msgs! And can no longer view live TV from home network or 4g

App no longer allows me to record or view my DVR list. I get "we're sorry. Can't do this now. Try later". Never works later eithe

Constantly and immediately shuts down when I try to use the android app for months now! I remove and re-install the app for android, I took the time to troubleshoot and chat with a live agent, Afreen, I used the link the chat agent sent me, the android app DOES NOT WORK!

Live TV hasn't worked in forever. Not on their Roku channel either. Worthless.

This app is terrible compared to dish anywhere or direct it's a waste of storage space useless. Total inferiority to competition....

Big PROBLEM; Can't get all the channels because not connected to spectrum Internet

Can watch only a few channels if you are out of your WiFi area,not good.

The favorites doesn't work. The app decides what your favorites are regardless how many times you choose them.

This app was great, I could catch up on my shows while my daughter watched her toons on the regular tv. Ever since the last update it won't open for me, very disappointing, hope it gets fixed soon :(

Spectrum website says that app can be used to cast shows to tv with android or apple and even gives directions on how to cast specifically from each type of device with the app. This is completely false. Android version of the app has NO WAY AT ALL AS SPECIFIED THROUGH WEBSITE DIRECTIONS to cast. Why list that app can cast when it actually can't?

The app will crash. It also will continue the video while making sound but no video and I will have to close the app and open it just for it to do it again. Hard to watch sports because of it
