Volume+ (Volume Boost)

I used this app on my old phone, the Samsung G S4 because it needed it. My LG G3 has phenomenal sound out of the box. But I was listening to some tunes and figured let me give this app a try and I am completely blown away by the sound quality and separation with not a hint of distortion. It is loud and clear. The best way I can describe it is it is as if I have headphones on but I don't, I hope that makes sense. Try out different settings and be sure to uncheck the first box when done to hear your sound!

When my phone is in my pocket and I'm outside around people, hearing the traffic, and a lot of noise...my phone rings and I actually can hear it loud and clear!! I am loving it so far as far as Volume Boosting Apps go! By far this is the Best for my Samsung Galaxy S III. I LOVE MY GSIII PHONE, SO I WANT ONLY THE BEST APPS FOR IT! No B.S.

UPDATE: You need to be rooted on 4.2.2 for this to work properly. If you install another eq program or turn music fx back on you have to wipe dalvic first for it to work. If you go back to this program same thing. But this works and that's all I care about. Just wipe dalvic and cache. Just installed again. I am using PA ROM on nexus 7. It works if you install, then enable speaker boost, then disable music fx app in app manager, then reboot. I set it at 17% boost. Works great.

I use this application on my TF700 Transformer Infinity, and I have to say that I love it. I am not rooted, I am running completely stock Android 4.0.4 on the above mentioned device. I use +10 for most of my normal useage, but I do sometimes push up to the +20 while listening to a movie. Friends that have heard my tablet can not believe the quality of the speaker, and the sound it can put out. This would not be possible without Volume+ and it's amazing sound boosting. The best part, is that I did not need to root for this app to work perfectly. The only suggestion that I have is a widget that would allow quick adjustment of the +volume profile between numbers, I'd even settle for a hotbar icon to adjust the power of Volume+. In all, a great thanks to the developers of this application.

I just upgraded my cell, HTC EVO 4G that I got when it just came out to HTC EVO 4G LTE. It works the same on both cells. Worked good in earlier version. New update doesn't work at all. I've been using this app for 2 years and was very happy with it. Please fix it. I'll check back for a new updates. Till then, I have to find a app that works. HTC EVO 4G LTE

This app worked wonderfully under ICS 4.0.4. After an update to JB 4.1.1, not anymore. Hope the Dev can iron it out because it really is a great app! Changed the rating to POOR after the wait. If and when it begins working again, I'll change my rating. But for now, ITS A $2 PIECE OF JUNKWARE.

Rooted and custom Rom. T989 using AOKP build 4. The boost didn't work for jellybean until I did this: I set it to +10. After, I set the equalizer to flat and rebooted. After reboot my sound is awesome at half for day to day and I still don't max it in loud settings.

Prior to 4.2, this was an excellent app. I often watch videos on my Nexus 7 whilst on my commute, and this added just the edge to make videos remain audible over the sound of passing trains and chatter from other passengers. However lately its simply stopped working. Increasing the volume beyond the usual limit - the key function of this app - has no effect whatsoever. In fact, I found uninstalling it resulted in a better volume. In addition, whilst it was installed a faint hissing sound was produced, again, when the app was uninstalled the sound quality was much better. The producer of Volume+ has asked to not be given low votes, but I can't in good faith give this a high vote. It simply doesn't work anymore. If its fixed, and I hope it is, it would deserve a better vote.

Used to work so well, then after the last 2 updates it just stays in my notifications panel suggesting me to force close. The volume boost and bass boost don't even work anymore. Please fix, I didn't buy this app for nothing....I used to love it. I'll change my rating once it's fixed.

Took a bit to tweak, DB level adjustments a bit inconsistent throughtout eq band for me. Not sure if it is my galaxy s deuce or what. For any level. But hiding within adjusting levels is a great sound. My Beyerdynamic headphones are loving it. That's what matters

I have used this app for 4 of my android devices. It works for two of them. If you have root privileges give this a try at least it works very well if it works if it doesn't it is really easy to get a refund. I think it is definitely worth it as you have a device is that itis compatible with

Months ago he said he was going on vacation. Not one word since. Broken on Nexus Jellybean. His attitude always has implied we're lucky to be spoken to by him. Guess he doesn't need us paying customers any more. DON'T PAY HIM!

My phone's internal amp remains shite I was hoping this tool would eliviate it a bit but it only made it worse, I can hear a lot of static noise and the sound quality dropped drastically. Altough usable for the speaker I would not recommend it only for the headphones.

I wasn't gonna rate bad because I understopd that they needed time to make in compatible with jelly bean... But it's kinda been 3 months now with no word if a fix will ever come. I expect a refund if you're not gonna update this app to work with any android device running anything above ICS

Had this app on my last 2 phones and never had a problem, even when I get a crash it seems to keep working, never dropped a call or anything.. maybe I'm just lucky? Don't really use it for the volume boost just improves the clarity a tonne. HTC one

This app has fixed my issue with low volume. I am running jelly bean 4.1 working. Only problem is equalizer will not work. I can use volume increase only. Still has fixed my problem of not hearing ringtones or notify sounds. Thank you ZTE Valet user

They said that there working on the nexus, but that is a bunch of BS. They quit. And gave up that's all. People with galaxy nexus don't purchase ur wasting money. I found out later after it was not working. I wish there was sumthing lower than a 1 to rate. That is how mad I am.

It was awsome up till this last update. Volume boost doesn't really work. As well as the equalizer. It clears things up, but there is no more boost. No more punch. Please help. Music is the only freedom I have in AIT! Hook a soldier up!

Tired of waiting for a jellybean fix for galaxy nexus. Uninstalled tonight, if you ever fix it to a working state I may try it again. But not going to hold my breath on it... Loser support on this one folks.

Does nothing. Waste of money. My bigger beef is with Google. I requested a refund after trying out this piece of garbage app and every time I hit the refund button it couldn't complete the request. Now, it's over the time limit and Google /the app creator gets two free bucks and I'm assed out with no app.

Waste of money! Doesn't boost volume at all on my s2 ICS. Description failed to mention that it likely won't work unless phone is rooted! Found that out after refund time had lapsed. Don't buy this misleading app if your phone is stock!

I've got jelly bean latest and it works on my Motorola xoom tablet which was seriously lacking in the volume dept when using speakers. problem solved. Haven't tried any EQ settings as only interest was volume boost and it does that very well. Thanking you

OK look a lot of dumb people rate this a low rating and its only because they have no idea what they are doing. U must meet the requirements for it to be comparable. PS if it by chance is comparable it will make ur phone as loud as u can dream . ps also to loud will break speakers

Using HTC ONE MAX, Had this app for year's Amazing app man!!! I thought that my phone was loud before haha! NOW IT IS!! I can hear it a mile away lol jk! The best 1.62$ I ever spent in my life hahaha!!!! Everyone you need this you won't regret it at all. This app was awesome at one time on my Galaxy Nexus. The developer gets his panties in a bunch because those that have been updated to Jelly Bean, like myself, complain that this no longer works. He claims (has claimed for some time now) that he's working hard to find a fix to the problem. I call bull. Did you fall off the planet, dev? I want a refund.

This app was great but since JB its a disappointment. Too bad I picked up the paid version. Reading is fundamental. **update** since jb 4.2.1 now Bluetooth volume boost doesn't work. No updates from create what so ever.

I understand the "jellybean" issue. But is was fine on my nexus 7 until the 4.2 update by google. Please fix.. I hope your not abandoning your customers who paid for it. Even though the phone speaker volume boost feature hasn't worked since Gingerbread was upgraded to Jellybean, the Bass Boost, Echo, and equalizer functions in the Bluetooth Setting Menu on the paid version seem to be working! I use the phone for streaming audio to the bluetooth car stereo so I can definitely hear changes happening through the car speakers when certain settings are changed on the BLUETOOTH SETTINGS MENU. We all look forward to Jellybean fix for phone speaker boosting,

When i launch the app on full volume, there is a difference! But when i try to tp to 5+ 10+ 20+ volume, it gets softer!! I have an lg g4 its 5 months old i think im on jellybean. Help? Edit: i have android 5.1 lollipop

Tried free version with KitKat (4.4.4), and it definatly boosted an HTC Desire Eye. Have HD voice here, but volume was still low with some connections on bluetooth headset. With this app, don't even have to turn it to high, I can hear people again. Thanks for doing this. It is a shame that a user has to do so much to get basic funtionality in a phone. Update: having now had this over a week, it is definitely increasing the volume, in bluetooth, handset and speaker phone. Graphic equalizer has no effect. Despite the mixed reviews and possible incompatibility with newer phones, you have nothing to lose trying the free version if your current phone is not loud enough.

More like 4.5 stars! This app is a lifesaver! My phone's volume was unacceptably low and I would miss sms/mms and notifications. I tried the free version didn't notice much difference but I'm glad I purchased now, big difference!! Only complaint maybe headset vol where the bass don't get much of a boost. But that's a minor issue. Keep up the great work Meltus!

I've got a Galaxy S5 Mini which is really a great Phone. The only drawback is the Volume and Speaker, which is low even to maximum level when playing music! This App corrects the problem really well,.just be careful not to blow your Speaker. For best results purchase the 1.99 version the free version has limited features, all are needed for the App to work properly. Try it you won't regret it!

This is a great app. Samsung updated my S3, now it won't work on my phone. So sad

I am by far no novice when it comes to Information Technology, or Telephony. This application simply does not function as would be expected. My Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was completely oblivious to the modifications Volume+ claims to have made. I even went as far as trying the advanced root options with no success. I would like a full refund.

I originally gave u 5 stars but unfortunately Volume+ hasnt worked on my last 3 devices : LG Volt & Moto G (1st Gen) & SGS5. I really hope this app starts working again :)

Volume is terrible on my Acer Iconia A-810 Tablet. This app was discussed & recommended by users in Acer tablet forum posts. Decided to purchase & give it a try. HUGE difference! Set volume high up in app. Now can hear videos, movies, etc., without using headphones/ear buds or external speakers. Thanks for offering this app!!!
