About EKG Simulator

The SynDaver EKG simulator can be run along with any medical training manikin to add another layer of realism to your simulations.

The app offers a standalone mode where variables can be set by an intuitive slider based interface.

Variables that are currently able to be set include beats per minute, systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, respiration rate, SPO2, and temperature. These values are displayed both numerically and by color coordinated dynamic waveform with mutable audio indicators for the heart rate.

It also offers Bluetooth control, when the same app is installed on two paired android devices, allowing an instructor to update the display remotely in real time in response to student interactions or to modify the training scenario on the fly.

Plans for other future additions include changing variables over time and preset creation.

Still can't draw quite the right EKG... And can't link two devices (even after following your instructions).... But, I love this concept, will keep the app and check for updates

by V####:

Can you pleasssssssse add in parameters and alarms? If the parameters for any vital signs are exceeded, the monitor will ding until the patient returns normal or if the alarm is silenced.

P70%
by P####:

The ECG isn't right at all and even being able to change it you still can't make p waves or T waves, we have lost the S wave with the latest update. In this new version the wave forms don't match with numbers. Still got scaling issues on Nexus 5.

This has the potential to be a great app and I think a lot of people would be happy to pay for it if it had just a bit more functionality. There's also a complete void in the market for Android Sim apps. Advice: 1) get rid of drawing the waveforms, which is clunky, time-consuming and unnecessary, and instead have a menu of waveforms for each variable eg sinus rhythm, VT, etc. 2) Make the waveform options realistic! It's not that hard to put in P and T waves, and to smooth the arterial waveform! I'll email..

I like the simplicity of the screen but can't sync 2 devices to use in a training environment. Disappointed.

It's hard to find a simulator that doesn't come with a $10,000 mannequin. I just want my students to see what's on the monitor and react. If you would just add the other rhythms... blocks, VT, VF, AF/AF. Of course, it would be even better if they could pace, cardiovert, and defibrillate.

Does'not work right , example it shows all zeros and straight lines , please fix it

Can you please add alarm sounds? For asystole, Spo2, blood pressure, and no leads?

X70%
by X####:

Could be better interface by touch not to go for settings for changing data

X70%
by X####:

no P waves, no T waves. couldn't get any PACs, no PJCs, no PVCs. no paced rhythms. would be nice to have AV blocks added (1st deg, 2nd types 1&2, 3rd deg). would be nice to also have changes in QRS complex width. ETCO2 would be cool to have too. this would be an awesome live wallpaper though.

It would be good if we could have other rhythms available. But its a great start, and pretty useful for sim now. :-)

Love that you can remote control it from another device. Hopefully it will get a lot of improvements (saturation pitch, temperature in Celsius, custom scenarios etc) but it's a great app already. Wouldn't mind paying a few bucks for more advanced features.

I love it very very much I use it during surgery in the dental office! Can you plzzzzz add a setting to change the pitch of the beep?
