SwannView Pro HD

I am so mad. I hate to give it 1star but it was really painful to use it. It used to be an excellent app. I would be able to see without ever to input in the data. Now, I have to input inthe data everytime I need to use it. The setting is not saved. How come? Why it doesnt save? Why is it such a hassel? By the time I need to input in all the data, a bugular could have entered the house without ne knowing it. Please fix it. Save the setting.

Works on my iPad but not here on Android. Not well written, poor documentation. Not even obvious what version you are using. Eg: Swannview,Swannview Pro or Swannview Pro HD. Tried them all, no luck.

I have Galaxy5 and it connects but just blackness. Do swann not review and test the apps before putting into the market? I am so so disappointed with Swann. I had Swann since its conception. Take NOTE Swann or the company will lose many valuable customers! Such ashame!

Not Compatible with Galaxy S4 Android, after upgrading to 'Lolipop' Not Compatible with Galaxy S4 Android, after upgrading the 'phone OS to 'Lolipop'! I think that the previous OS used Java & the 'Lolipop' OS has done away with Java. So if the nice people at Swann could re-write their App to make it work with 'Lolipop' we would all be very thankful. Meanwhile 1 stars only (just to get it to register - otherwise it's really 0 stars as it doesn't work!).

This was installed when I first had my Android tablet was at Kit Kat however there are some considerable bugs in the app once the os gets upgraded to lollipop. Intermittent black out which leaves my business paralysed and to my home where I cannot see at all locally or remotely. I am disappointed with the developers for letting this go by for at least several months withoutany upgrades.

When double tapping screen to enlarge view to full screen the app is trying to move the screen rather than enlarge it. Issue seems to occur more when on wifi vs 4g. Is there anything else that I should do differently to keep screens from moving rather than enlarging? Otherwise app is great!

Swannview Pro stop working but I did get the Swannview Link app to work. Talk to Swann's Customer Service and Swannview Link is the new supported app. All other apps' support is being discontinued. Give it a try and I hope it works for you.

Only smart thing to do with anything swann is return it while you can. Their support is trash, their product is worse. This app is clunky junk, can't save images, is miserable to navigate, and hasn't been updated forever because swann has moved to their next batch of scams.

This is much better than the normal version. It seems a lot more polished although the buttons overlap each other on my Galaxy S2, which is a shame. A few minor user interface tweaks and this would be very good indeed!

Edit: STILL CRASHING THREE YEARS LATER, ACROSS THREE DEVICES. Works for a little while, marvelously. Unfortunately, it now crashes on launch every single time I try to run it. I am running stock JB on Galaxy Nexus. Please bug fix this otherwise wonderful app! Thanks! Update: this app crashes identically on four different android devices. Tech support is useless.

The App worked fine on my droid note 5 until I loaded the Marshmallow O.S. Now when I log in to the App all I get is a successful connection with a black screen. The App still work on my wife IPhone. Swann do you have a fix or patch for this problem? Update: I downloaded Swannview Link App and it work with the new Marshmallow O.S. it uses the same I.P. address and port number. So far no problems.

Feel like these shiny new camera's were to throw me off the scent of amazingly horrible software! Why are there so many different apps? I've tried almost all of the Swann apps and all are junk! Using Samsung S6 Edge Plus with Android 6.0.1

App doesn't save your connection settings. You have to enter your connection adress, port, user and pass everyone you use.. that's stupid

Used to work well but now have no cameras showing at all, says successfully connected but screen goes black and that's it. Since android updated app it's stopped working, will there be a fix or do I just delete app??? I've since installed the Swannview Link app and that works well.

Camera DVR server settings are not saved. Makes this app worthless. The iPhone app seems to work much better. A shame.

This app no longer works as of lollipop 5, I am able to setup and connect, but only a black window is displayed where I would expect to see an image from the camera. Very disappointing, have 4 systems setup for 3 of my businesses. I would advise people to avoid swann if a stable connection is critical on an android device. They do maintain there apple apps better. Had to buy an iPhone, it was cheaper than buying a 4 new camera systems. Very disappointing swann.

Keeps on losing the dvr settings everytime I close the program and I have to keep rentering them on my galaxy tab. Works fine on the ipad and galaxy phone. Just has problems on the galaxy tab

For some reason this app now works perfectly. I'm able to see all my cameras and control my three dumb cameras everything that's described and mentioned that works perfectly. Not sure what I did to get the app to finally work but it seems to be working on both my LAN and WAN Networks.

This app was fantastic on my Verizon galaxy s4 until recently. I think Either the OS upgrade to Lollipop or an application update broke it. The cameras now report a successful connection, but display no picture.

Same problem as other reviewers. It says Connection Successful, but no picture is displayed - and then it crashes. Please fix this, Swann!

All cameras seem to have a grey fuzz on them blanking some of the image. It also be good to have full screen for 1 camera. Sometimes has issues connecting over 3G but that's 3G for you

Downloaded all fine punched in ip address and bravo all my camera images came up, but then connection errors one after the other then network errors?

This is definitely a smarter app fo SwannView series. However, the only added feature that I was striving for simple does not work as the app does not allow me to view more than four cameras at a time which a disappointment. The DVR and this program's code should be modified to give more flexibility to us for viewing live video streams using our multiple smart phones and tablets.

Was a good app can't use with new android upgrade - loads up no pictures from cams - please fix

Worked great until 2 weeks ago. Connects but no video. Reinstalled and no resolve

The cameras work sometimes, other times, it states that there is a successful connection, but a black screen is displayed. Cameras work on other family members' iphones, just not on my Samsung phone. I also installed other versions of this app, had the exact same issue. Please sort this.

After the New Google update visual has been changed into a back screen! Plz fix that issue quickly as possible. By the way it works perfectly before.

It was working perfectly fine since the update came from android 5.0 it's stop working no picture at all try resetting but no luck.can any one help or the app maybe needed update. It's started working but stopped again no picture on screen message successful connection but no pictures blank screen. Thanks

My personal phone came with Lollipop and my work phone was just updated with Lollipop. This app will no longer display my cameras, and I do not expect an update since this app has not been supported in years. Fortunately, IP Cam Viewer works with my cameras which I found recommend in another user's review.

Did not work since android 5.0, but you can flip between nu player and awesome player in the developer option to fix it. After 5.1 update, even that fix does not work. I have to downgrade my android now. Swann has never fixed this. Very disappointed.

This app doesn't work with android lollipop! Can u please help us get a fix for it please! I use this app daily to check in on my kids while I'm at work :( please help me please I can't see anything at all I've done everything.. I really need u guys right now... or I need another surv cam app.. and I've had this one for years.. I don't want to get rid of it.. Please help me Swann

The app works fine on my galaxy tab 4 but it won't save my system so I have to reenter all my login information every single time I check the app.

Works great except it does not save DVR settings. If I close the app and head out, the device is no longer listed. This needs to be fixed ASAP.

I had no problems with the app until phone update. Got it to work once and then stopped the next time I checked it. Hasn't worked since. Please fix soon. It works great on iPad so I know the inputs are right

It's hot " and allows me to keep track of my small Busines so I can put more time in to expanding it as well as I am now pursuing the idea of opening a second business . Thanks to the freedom in which the carousel have provided....

Why does this app keep loading and the cameras dont show up. But if i download a non swann app, and input the same details. It all works fine!!!!!!!!!... swann sort it out.!!!!!!

HI I am using this app and when I do and it loads all cameras u not see any thing why is that please fix now or will uninstall

Could never get it to connect. I used Robert Chou's IP camera viewer and it worked instantly.

Not as easy to set up for remote viewing as swannview link but as that app is not available for the galaxy tab2, this seems to be the next best. Ddns and port forwarding required for remote viewing and I got over the gripe by others of not saving settings by going to settings and unticking autorun and then adding extra dvrs. Close the app to save new settings and then it is safe to retick autorun. Strange fix but it worked for me. I can now view cameras at home and at my remote business where ever I have a wifi connection. However, i have swann view link on my phone which is a better app if your hardware will run it. But only because you can change the settings and view recorded files on the dvr. This app is easy to use and you can record remotely if you see some foulplay.

The app its self looks good and works wee at my house but for some reason I cannot connect to my DVR to get live feed while I am either A using my 3g service orBe another wifi. can anyone help with this?
