Super Smart Bulb for Android
Was clunky enough when it did work and on opening always took two tries to turn the bulb on or off but today it's just not working at all so I have a permanently dim dumb bulb
If you dont have you location turned on it won't work !
The app has no wake up mode. All the preset modes are all a hard turn on which none can be used to wake up to. If there was a toggle to reverse the fade from out to in, that would be much better to wake up to. Another feature that would be nice is "OK Google" and Android Wear integration. Turning on from your watch or voice would be easier than finding your phone or tablet in the dark.
It says it cannot find the device to restart the bulb, but my Bluetooth connects and my music plays just have no connection with the app
Multiple devices is terrible, forgets my settings when I try pair a new device. Should have a backup and restore function. Give us an API I will write the app if need be!
A search button for music function maybe? Also I wouldn't mind a desktop counterpart of this app if you pc has bluetooth. Imagien the bulb being able to change gaming experience for example it flashing red and blue when police are after you in Grand Theft Auto? Theres more potential of ideas but genrally a great bulb
Doesn't work with my samsung s6. Does work with my wife's iPhone 6. I can play music, but can't control the bulb.
I like it, but the spelling mistakes are unprofessional and I find it suspicious this requires microphone/WiFi permissions
Excellent bulb and app combo. Works well, even though the colour wheel isn't that accurate. The app would be perfect if the designer could make a sunrise alarm function please! I will give 5 stars if this is added. It would also be nice to have a preset selection of colours in addition to the wheel. Thank you, and keep up the good work!
It would be great if you could set a brightness for each node
It recognizes my bulb but won't load or add it
I have it configured and working with my bulb, which I guess is good reading some of the other comments. But the options for setting up is so limited that it's hardly useful. How about setting a 'sunrise' light that simulates sunrise? Or relaxing red in evening? How about the music setting responded to spotify or Google play music? Also it's design looks 2009-ish.
Wont add the bulb to the app, just reports that had stopped.Rubbish app and very expensive white lamp!
App is a little untidy but does appear to contain all the functionality. The help information contains poorly translated English.
This is an interesting app, it works with the specific hardware supplied by the company and in terms of functionality seems pretty good - there's the fairly expectable and predictable options to cycle colours, change colours, flash the lights and so on. It's irritating that it insists on working in portrait mode. My tablet's natural mode of operation is landscape so I can't work how I want to work. It's also obvious that whoever wrote it isn't a native English speaker - the language is so badly mangled it's not funny. I've seen a few examples of dodgy English but this is the most spectacular mangling I've seen in a while. Obviously that doesn't change the functionality but on first using the app it really doesn't give a good impression.
On receiving this product I noticed instantly it was stylish and well built by the weight and I was immediately impressed.. I downloaded the App in seconds and that was it I was up and running.. I can have the light dimmed for when im watching tv or reading.. or I can have it as a strobe and disco light which keeps the kids entertained for hours on end.. especially because I can play music and the light will flicker to the beat in all different colours superb App.. highly recommend A***
