Habit Goal Monitor Pro for Android
Giving 1 star (from 5) for 4th day of non stop crashing. Sure we can always have opinions on "look" but habit goal pro exceeds all expectations and the widget is really motivating!! Stats would be fab but could you PLEASe PLEASE add back up/restore. Will be 5+++
This app is simple to use and works well. My only complaint is that their is no way to backup, export or import saved data. If you change devices all habits will need to be recreated and the history will be lost.
I would like to monitor more than 4 habits in the widget. It would be nice if you can provide more.

Works well, but limited. I found it's easier to just use a to-do list with a recurring task.
Just what I was looking for!
Perfect
And small file size
I bought after using the free version for 5 min, and love it! But if u could add exceptions it would be perfect. E.g. I have to study japanese 2h a day, only on weekdays, then every weekend makes me break my streak. I could set it for 10 hours weekly, but its just not the same. Exceptions please!
For the most part this does exactly what I was looking for in a behavior tracking app -- the ability to track both behaviors I want to increase and behaviors I want to decrease and the quick and simple to input activity on the fly are especially useful. That said, there are a few features that would make it even better that might be worth looking into in future versions: *Ability to set "per month" behaviors *Graduated goals (that is, the ability to set and track minimums/maximums, target goals, and "push" goals) *Better tracking of success/failure for weekly habits (namely something beyond streaks, a way to at a glance see which weeks were success and failure; one way would be to have "recent history" show per week rather than per day, or have that data on a separate line) *Better visualization of past success/failure in recent history (in combination with previous item - if history measured by goal period rather than always by day, a different text style for success/failure could make it easy to at a glance see success/failure; even more helpful in combination with graduated goals)
Has many positive points. So far its the best habit monitor . POSITIVE POINTS: You can ammend each habit and the ammout of logs when you want. The streak and best streak are very usefull. You can add a log for today or even yesterday with only 2 taps. NEGATIVE POINTS: The UI could be improved , each habit takes too much space and thus only about 4 to 5 habits can fit on the same sceen(this is the only reason i did not rate it as 5). SUGGESTIONS: Apart from the current streak and best streak could be a good idea to have the previous streak. Some kind of charts to compare performance over the weeks.
The ONLY one I can find with a widget that shows your progress over time! Wish I could set it to track daily habits only on weekdays, instead of "5 times a week."
I love the widgets! being able to quickly perform actions from the homescreen really make this app stand out from the others I've tried and stick with this one.
Bought the paid version after only a couple if minutes with the free one. I've been looking around at other habit trackers, and this one seems the simplest and most user-friendly. Could use a better UI and some extra options (e.g. Exceptions, backup and restore), which would definitely earn 5 stars. More importantly, I'd love the option to set reminder alarms for each habit, with the option to select the time/frequency and ringtone.
I like it. My first paid app. Especially when you can set number of times in a week as it allow my schedule to be more flexible. But I would prefer if there is setting for the fonts to be smaller, reset all habits. Some suggestion is categories of habits, and a page to tick the habits done, or double tap, etc. Keep it up! :)
Best widgets out of all the "goal tracking" apps available! Well worth the price! I'm looking forward to the upcoming enhanced "historical" viewing capabilities!
I've installed about 10 habit/goal tracking apps and this is what I was looking for. Layout is simple and use is intuitive (zero learning curve). It allows to distribute and track the adherence to weekly goals amongst the different days, allowing flexible schedules (you don't necessarily want to distribute all weeks the same) and non-binary accomplishments: some tasks are not yes-no; I, for example, track the number of 20-minute slots dedicated to certain tasks. Could improve a little bit, though, in appearance.
Awesome thank you!
Downside- when editing habit/days it returns to the top of the list when you go back so if you have a lot of habits, theres a lot of scrolling to do. Upside- everything else!
I'd tried several similar apps on iPhone before and on Galaxy Note now, but this one seems the best, especially since this is just 1st version! Would be nice to have configurable widgets (at least 1x5 for GN big screen).
Sam Walton, the founder of Walmart told his managers to update the sales figures every day and strive to "Beat Yesterday." This is a great app for doing just that because it motivates you to do the right things during the course of any given day to ensure that you stay on path toward you bigger goals. While traditional goal setting preaches that we should all set targets, this app allows you to zoom in at granular level and track the steps that offer the most direct path to achieving those targets.
Habit Goal Monitor Pro is a great program. Recently I tried out at least 10 different habit programs. Habit Streak, iPro Habit Tracker, Habit Factor, etc. I think I tried all of them. The main reason this one is so good is the notifications. The notifications are extremely flexible and work every time. Some of the other apps don’t even have notifications! This a basic habit program, not limited, but having the ability for strong notifications to remind you of habits is essential. Also you can dismiss them and +1 them right from the notification message. I would like to see some additional features. It also looks like there has not been an update for a while now. A backup feature would be nice. Some kind of long-term graph and calendar view would be nice. Developers please add some new features and still keep this app fast, light and quick, which is excels! Awesome program for habits, currently the best!
We can use daily and weekly timeframe for tracking. What about monthly timeframe? I should do semething 3-5 times per month. Weekly TF is not sutible for this. Thank you in advance. Alex
I use it to track religious and academic goals and healthy habits. I love the: * customizability. * nice widget. * intelligent reminders. * and the price.
IOS app store seems littered with quality goal setting marketing pitches. But it's slim pickings for Androiders. This is a very respectable effort. The widgets are very useful, good visual contrast in the UI, data entry is simple and easy and no unnecessary permissions. I particularly like the way it caters for both good and bad habits. Only downside is a lack of connection to goals. Charts/graphs, a way to export the data and a catchier name would be a good idea too.
Great app; would be 5 stars when backup/restore functionality is added for data and settings.
I have wasted so much time on other productivity apps where I have to make each item and check it off as I go or on other habit apps that aren't as flexible. I love how you can choose between at least one (and up to as many as you want) per day OR week. Perfect for all of my goals!
This is a really useful app and the best of its type in my opinion. An export option would be the icing on the cake and I hope that will be added in a future version soon. The developer provides really quick and helpful responses to queries too. Well done!

Pros: 1- easy to use interface. 2- possible to back date 3- alarm 4- widget Cons: 1- no category 2- possibility to set days Wishlist: obviously the ability to add categories and days to track habits and (this would make it absolutely awesome) the ability to sync across multiple devices through Dropbox. Nonetheless, in its current state, this is the best habit tracking app on the Market!
One very important feature missing for me: "ignore this day" or "this day does not count" - for days which don't break a chain, but also do not extend it (e.g. habit concerning work day on holiday). One "nice to have" - editing days in calendar view, especially of type yes/no. Other than that - one of the best apps of this kind.
Possibly the most useful and well laid out habit monitoring app widget in all of google play! Easy to use Clear Keeps you on top of those habits you need stopping or developing!
Should incorporate graphs and other Bar chart graphics.. Coz its cool to look and feel one's own accomplishments.. :)
The best habit app put there by far. If it had a few more options such as customizing what the widget displays, it would be perfect.
Really terrific! Like someone else wrote -- it was just what I was looking for. Really helpful app. I use it everyday! Good job! Thanks a lot! :)
Things I particularly like about this app: - tracking of progress - ability to backdate start and progress (lacking in a lot of similar aps). I have some 'before sleep' habits, that I obviously need to be able to mark off the following day. Well done. - individual reminders for each goal. Nice. To improve it could use more options for : sorting, filtering and catergorisation options; widgets ; a yes/no or specific days.
I got this app because of the widget. Only app with such a widget, which makes it easy to modify and track habits. Wish there was a way to graph the statistics, or data could be exported to Google Drive - that would make this app really powerful!

I upgraded from the free version because I wanted to add a fourth habit. But I can't import my habits/progress from the free app. Great app nut I'm bummed I have to start over.
