Since the latest update, it completely locks up upon launch. It just shows a white screen for ages. I'm on a nexus 5. The new icon is hideous as well.

Strange thing: I logged in multiple teams, and sometimes the new message indicator shows up ut some of them, but when I'm browsing another team the indicator is not there anymore.

Not all launch icons work well in a circular frame. Slack has its own look and feel, and this ain't it. Otherwise, the app works great.

The new icon loses the brand identity and makes it look like Slack was sold off to a large company that just updates an app to “fit in” with the latest trend and never fixes real issues.

Does 99% of what the desktop app does. Great for answering questions and keeping in touch with coworkers while on the move. The voice call quality is top notch. Best in class.

Actually, I had issues with notifications and have deleted and re-installed the app. Turned out, that my Slack wasn't automatically updated ( I expected that it should be). New version works smoothly and I am thrilled with the new design! Update: worked well earlier but recently I started having issues with push notifications again. Had re-installed it and it the same, maybe even worse. Please, help!!

The last update crushes Slack then I'm trying to open some of my channels. But overall this app is cool!

Notifications hardly ever work. The new icon is ugly and out of place. I'm not sure what they were aiming for but it was a horrible design choice.
