Tides Charts Near Me - Free for Android
Mostly everything was easy to navigate and find/read. Only problem I came across was all of a sudden it kept telling me Tuesday was today so was hard to tell when back to back days are similar weather
Great app, very simple does what is supposed to do.
Simple and easy to use the app. Thanks
Good app
Great, but getting warnings that it's using lots of battery.
Working again. Just what I need, like the description says, "beautiful and simple way to view tides".
Shows tides and daylight. What more could you ask for in a free app?
Nice simple app to use
Fixed. Thanks a lot.
With the moon cycles, it is awesome
Just need reinstall after update.
The app crashes after update
Just OK - no setting for daylight saving, no indication that the tide times are UTC. Tide times also differ from those given by UK Hydrographic Office by up to 15 minutes. One useful feature is giving the current height of the tide.
Worked great until updated today now unless, shame I used it a lot!
macam bodoh je lepas update x ada benda keluar lgsg baik x payah update mcm ni
Great app prior to July 26 update (stopped working). Hope this gets fixed soon.
Had to uninstall then install it to get it to work again after the update..so far likung the look and newer features..
after updates it not working...i reinstall and it working now
Everything all right
I like this app as it provides a simple, visual way to see tides, weather, and sun/moon data for various locations near me. Only things missing: as a swimmer, I wish it included water temperatures and also data on tidal currents, not just tide times and heights. As it is I have to go to another app for currents and to NOAA buoy web pages for water temperatures.
Just installed, looks simple n easy to use. Haven't tested it's prediction accuracy but l guess it uses same databases as other apps. The only issue is that there is no option for settings: measurements, temperature, etc, it should still gives the user the option to select the best setup. Thanks.
I've tried 5 different tide apps and this one was the winner. The data are presented in an intuitive manner and it seems quite accurate for my local beach. The only flaw I would note is that you have to manually select locations from a list, rather than visually from a map (if you click the map icon, it only shows your selected station, not others nearby).
Works fine on my Nexus 5 and provides accurate information for my location in San Felipe, Baja, Mexico (as cross-checked with online resources). Displays are informative and useful. For those of you who may use it for San Felipe, note that there are two possible locations for information given in the app. The default, automatically selected by the app, seems to be off on both tidal heights and times as compared to the majority of online tide charts I could find. The second location (indicated furthest from the coastline in the app) is titled "San Felipe, Baja California Norte, Mexico" and appears to be the accurate one. Simply add it and you're good to go. I've emailed the vendor regarding this issue, which I consider to be minor, not deserving of any down-rating, and likely a problem with the source data, not the app.
The location is usually accurate and easy to change manually; and it's easy to keep a list of frequent locations. I like how easy the charts are to read and that the current height is updated in real time so you can compare it to the next high/low tide coming up (which are always listed right below the chart) and figure your rise/drop. My only complaint is that it's easy to forget to close the application and it seriously chews through battery, even with the screen off and the app in the background.
Seems legit. Can create a list of personalized tide locations and select locations via map. App is a little clunky, but works well once you get the hang of it.
I really like how it immediately showed me my tides when I started the app, instead of making me search for a nearest city, etc. Would be nice to be able to scroll continuously through time instead of swiping one "day card" at a time.
I like the graphical tide indication. Makes it quick and easy to see which way tide is heading. Please provide option to choose units of measurement. Would prefer feet over metres. Thanks. (Strangely, my wife's phone is showing feet and mine is showing metres?? How?)
8 day (lanscape) visual tide graph needed to replace text and optimise planning - 36hr day graph needed with 12hr advance for night planning
Great app, I do a lot of sailing in Malaysia and Thailand and looks like it has me covered. One suggestion: please give an option to display tides in meters, not just feet. All of the marine charts of the anchorages in this part of the world give the depths in meters.
Tide hights here in Phuket Thailand are 2 feet shallower than all other sources. Interface ok but not accurate so not safe to use
This shows Simon Town how do I change it to where I am
Easy to use, no metric unit..or is there any way i can chnge it?
And doesn't have a clue where it is!!!? Uninstalled right away....
Pls kindly include tides for various locations in Singapore and Malacca Straits.
Wrong. Just...wrong. Worse than twighlight.
graph is reversed bad ka kaa
Needs a sine wave widget
It shows all the tide information that we need
It's starts the speaker on my HTC one for some reason. Have to force quit the app to make it stop.

The best tide app out there. I have tried at least a half dozen of the top downloads. It has all the known stations around me and is fast clean looking easy to read. Only thing I don't use is the weather radar, I use weather underground for that. For Tides use this app.
