ScanMyOpel features include:
- native support of Electronic control units used in Opel/Vauxhall cars, which distinguishes ScanMyOpel from many other diagnostic applications providing only limited generic OBDII support
- monitoring various dynamic parameters of engine, automatic transmission, ABS, EHPS and other ECUs
- reading of static data: ECU identification, fault codes with their current statuses and symptoms
- clearing of fault codes
- Displaying environment information on trouble codes where applicable
- Displaying nominal values of livedata parameters where applicable
- Displaying Livedata parameters charts (only 5 charts can be viewed simultaneously)
- Actuator tests for selected ECUs.
Fault code status meanings:
red - present
yellow - intermittent
green - not present
Current software version supports ONLY the following Opel/Vauxhall models:
- Agila A
- Astra F (MY96+)
- Astra G
- Corsa B (MY97+)
- Corsa C
- Frontera A (25TDS engine)
- Frontera B (X22DTH/Y22DTH engines only)
- Meriva A
- Omega B (MY97+, except X25XE/X30XE, Y25DT engines)
- Speedster
- Tigra (MY97+)
- Tigra B
- Vectra B
- Zafira A
The ECU type is detected automatically.
During actuator tests it is possible to monitor livedata parameters. Actuator test lasts 30 seconds, then it stops automatically. User can stop test at any time before 30 seconds expired.
ScanMyOpel supports ELM327-based Bluetooth interfaces on all Bluetooth-enabled Android devices. Please note - could be compatibility issues with some noname ELM327 interfaces. If you are experiencing problems with establishing stable connection with the ELM327 interface, please send us the following information:
- phone model
- version of Android OS
- ELM327 version
- name of the BT device
Recommended ELM327 version is 1.4/1.4+. Proper connection with Chinese versions of ELM327, other then 1.4, is not guaranteed. Also, mini-OBD chinese interfaces in general do not work properly.

Also, in case of any issues it is possible to save log and forward it on info@opel-scanner.com for troubleshooting. Log creating can be enabled from the application menu. Log files will be stored on the SDCard in "ScanMyOpel" folder.
Attention!!
Since in ELM 327 is used only pin 7, you may not et connected to other modules, which are connected to other pins in the OBD plug. In order to benefit all features of ScanMyOpel application, please connect together pins 7, 3 and 12 in the ELM327 adapter.

Excellent! Fixed not connecting Bluetooth ELM237 to Joying Android Head Unit by copying setting files off my cellphone under root/data/data/com.ScanMyOpel.Main/shared_prefs. Copy all files except com.android.vending.licensing.ServerManagedPolicy.xml. Hope it helps those who cant connect. Hope the developers put in Gauges like those found in Torque Pro

I can get a read out with lite version but not this one? It's a 1999 vectra B 2.0 petrol. I am using a cheap modual but seeing as it worked with lite version I don't see why it wont work with this one?

I bought a cheap elm bkuetooth interface on ebay on this app is the only one which can read all the data. I experience some frezing after a minute or so but hope it's solve in the last version. Thanks for the software :-)

Excellent app for Opel owners. Would work on phone and tablet but BT device selection apparently not working on pure android touchscreen head unit. Why use android phone when u have android car stereo? PLEASE FIX!

the app works great with my astra g dti, the only problem is the landscape support, please consider it. My car headunit is android based but because I can't scroll the app in order to select car,engine etc I'm stuck at the first screen.

I had this on my former tablet Nexus 7 1st gen and it worked having 4.4 . Now on a Nexus 7 2nd gen it doesn't work either with 5.1.1 or 6.0 . Same goes for my OnePlus 2 with 5.1 . I was really hoping it wouldn't be this buggy...

Collected my 07 Meriva head gasket & timing chain,engine light came on the way home .Down loaded app it connected ok report Cylinder 2 missing intermittent & Cam sensor intermittent or open circuit. The garage's diag kit cost them £4k plus £800 to update this year. For £6 this app is tops

Connects perfectly on my 07 meriva :) but on my 98 corsa b connects but wont let me scan for faults :( not working on either car now and its not the adapter because it works with other apps

The only problem was found on Z12XE - Corsa C at position knock sensor, does not show any value though OPCOM displays. You can solve this problem???

Zafira and astra g works perfectly. One thing thats missing from all scan apps is the ability to compare with live data from a healthy running car so we know what is at fault. For instance o2 b1s1 currently 0.7v and have a bit next to it saying b1s1 min max 0.5 - 0.9 ect it would be great for people that dont understand what the are looking for in the live data.

Would be nice on engine live data tab to see manufacturer parameters. For example by clicking on 'Injection quantity' list item, pop up window will open. On my Astra G this parameter by manufacturer is 4-10mg but app shows 17mg. So would be nice to see manufacturer defined numbers

I select 2004 CORSA C ENGINE check I'm connected via bluetooth. It force closes. I can't get my money back not good.
