The app itself is flaky and unreliable. I put up with it for the mPoints, but since Session M changed the way it did things, those points've been slashed. 25-point scans are worth 5 points and the weekly 100-point achievement is now worth 7. So after using ScanLife for several years, it's time for me to uninstall this pointless app.

I downloaded this app to check barcode data on products that we print at my place of employment. Used to work great for that. Now however I get frequent notifications about mpoints, even if I haven't scanned anything in weeks. Today, it asked me if I visited a particular location yesterday. That location was my dentist's office. I'm not sure what business that would be of this app's developers and I don't like it. Likely to uninstall.

I live near a Sears store, about a quarter mile away. Because of this application every morning when I wake up and look at my phone there is a huge banner ad that tells me "Welcome To Sears". I went to settings in the app to modify notifications and I always get an error message that notification settings can't be loaded or accessed or some other excuse. So either I wake up every morning being welcomed to Sears or I uninstall this app. So i decided to Uninstall this app.

App works fine but Marlboro must have retarded computers or something especially after u just put in correct info. and computer can't confirm my age. Maybe if they start hiring real people they won't have that problem. Just saying....

I like what it does for the most part. I have enjoyed using this app however like other my points app's my points have disappeared several times. I have gone from thousands of points to Zip. Not to mention it will not open to Rewards and I use to get pop-ups as I scanned that would say Claim your reward points. Hah not anymore .I miss entering the sweeps or donating on a daily basis and after 20 sweeps entries I would get my$1 Amazon E-card Not Anymore and I feel Robbed. NO I have been Robbed!

I really enjoyed having this app on my phone until it started generating notifications every 30 seconds. I know you need to generate some kind of focus but come on...! Uninstalled.

I would give this app a good rating if I was able to claim my mpoints rewards, but the rewards page hasn't been able to load for several weeks now. In fact all the mpoints apps have gone wonky.

I like the app but i have asked many times that you stop sending me location inquiries. I submitted weeks ago to stop sending them and yet every morning i still get a notification from the app asking for more information. If this doesn't stop I will be forced to uninstall the app.

Downloading content was all I ever saw in the app. Never scanned anything, never saw my feed page. Spent 20 minutes of my life on this. Crap

I REALLY dislike scanlife's recent practice of throwing random pop up notifications advertising for whatever they think you're interested in based on their data tracking. I previously gave this app five stars but backed it down to three now that I'm getting hit with their ads as phone notifications.I've got too many notifications that I care about as is without their ads cluttering up my notification bar

To many glitches & crashes. Also, can no longer redeem Mpoints. I've tried twice to contact the developer, to no avail. There are more reliable apps available.

Over the last few months the app is taking forever to load doesn't scan well anymore. As for mPoints they haven't worked since before Christmas. I even sent them a question and they can't even respond

Get version 6.86 if u have. Uninstall 6.88 if necessary. New version crashes immediately under Android 6(marshmallow). Google it.

It won't pull up or display any information when u scan a product. I have reinstalled it several times and NOW it will not open! Update: i have uninstalled and reinstalled this app twice and i still can't redeem my rewards! I haven't tried 2 scan anything, yet.

Really tired of 2 am notifications while in bed. Tried to shut them off but will never load my notification settings so I can do so. Change or I'm deleting the app!

It's still useful as a scanner, but I'm not able to access the mPoints rewards section of the app.

I enjoy the app but am very disappointed that they have not updated their software to remain compatible with the mpoints rewards program. If they don't update soon, I will be forced to find and use another scanning app

Hate that mPOINTS are held hostage! Are mPoints an incentive anymore?

I can no longer access my mPoints. It just sits on the rewards loading screen indefinitely. If it worked this would be a 5 star app

Absolutely not! I tried downloading this app about a year ago to scan a Marlboro barcode and I downloaded it again this afternoon..The results were the same both times I tried to scan the barcode.. I mean does it have to be a certain type of phone? Also why is there not an app available for laptops if it was an actual working app.. I have never written a bad review before today.. This was definitely worth the time considering the collective time I've spent downloading and trying to actually use this app..It needs to be takin off the google play store.. thank you for wasting my time I believe Marlboro was just advertising for you. The barcode probably isn't even real so since ya'll ride together I'm uninstalling you together. I'm already trying to quit, just one more reminder of all the unnecessary bull I go through just to smoke. So really I wanna say thanks to you both for continuing my drive to want to quit smoking.. p.s. wish I could give negative stars instead of being forced to at least rating half a star in order to leave my experience for others to see.....

This app has been recommended to me several times. I've downloaded it twice, neither time was it useful. Neither time did it work right, it never zoomed in, ever.

Dumb app has a stupid default crappy browser that sucks! Downloaded this for a malboro qr but spent an hour trying to make this stupid app work.

The mPoints glitch needs to get fixed. It won't load and I'm missing out on my daily points.

Downloaded, set to no access to my info which in turn wouldn't let me open the app. Tried to access the settings, nope, denied me because my settings were set to no access. Junk app.

Well, mpoints doesn't work on it now, did surveys said I was awarded the points, but when I go to collect them, It will not load then anymore.

I mean it didn't even worked everytime I scanned something in two different occasions. It wouldn't work. Fix it . Then maybe I would use it . For now is negative one star

Makes lots of mistakes for me. I was hoping it would just tell me the code it had scanned so I could use it for non-shopping purposes

Love the app itself, but would have never tried it if it weren't for mPOINTS. Now we can't access points or achievements. Will uninstall if not fixed

Only use this scan app for the Mpoints can't access till you update Mpoints software please update or I will find a different scan app to use

The mPoints will not load at all. Overall the app is slow and low quality.

This app has problems it keeps telling me I have no internet connection even when I'm on wifi

I occasionally need product information when there is no store associate available who can provide any. This helps so much in that way.
