The app was working great and all of a sudden I cannot connect to the DVR anymore I've tried to uninstall and reinstall and everything else my cameras and this app are junk unless they work for me

After the update for s7 it crashed.gave 1 star so i can have data entry but doesn't even deserve it.

This works fine for a couple days, then the device "CONNECT FAIL"s, and will NOT connect again until the whole app is uninstalled and reinstalled. Total PIA.

Nexus 6P 7.1. App launches but is completely unresponsive on camera screen. Has about 10 second delay for frame rate and touch action. Unusable.

Does not work on RCA 10 Viking Pro. As soon as the app fires up the splash screen comes up and it throws an exception. All you can do is close the app.

It always worked before I updated it, but now it refuses to connect to DVR at all.

Update killed it and now it's worthless

Love the app. Wish I could email recorded video to people. And a few other things could be better, but over all its a good app, and I've never had any problems.

Then, the past 3 weeks, can't get a picture. Only black screen

Great! Once I connected the DVR to my system via cat 5 I had no issues pulling up my cams from anywhere.

I have to install all cameras to get Internet connection this app is the worst i can never load my cameras

The interface is not user-friendly by any means. Once it finally connects to my requested device, navigating thru the app takes a lot of time to get used to. The remote playback is not second for second. You can also tell that the help section of the app was written in another language first (probably Chinese) and then translated to English. There should not be that many grammatical errors on a product that provides "professional surveillance." I gave it two stars because it's barely beats their iOS app.

I downloaded this thinking it would be junk after reading reviews. But I am sorry, as a casino professional and ex surveillance manager, you can not complain. What you get is far more than you pay for, it's not perfect but let's be honest if you want perfection pay twenty times the price and be happy. I for one, as an industry professional when it come to cctv and systems, am amazed at the value for money. Well done to all involved.

This app is terrible!! Constantly getting little swirleys on the windows while in away mode. Always shows connected in device manager so you cant even restart... Total junk!! Why install a camera system that you can't see anything with while you are away from home!! On a positive note, the system is great on the monitor while I am sitting in front of it at Home!! LOL

Took a little bit to get this properly configured. After calling technical at Defender, I was up and running in no time. Once it was configured properly, it runs very smooth. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five, is that there should be push notifications for the camera's alarm and not just an email. I am going to try and figure out a way for the Defender to send me a text instead of an email.

Works perfect on wifi or away. For those complaining, it's in your settings not the app. Use your static ip address and your correct port and you should have no problems. Not fair to give an app negative reviews when it's not on their end. Good luck!

Love this app. If you have a static IP and you know how to enter the information to set up an excellent review and cameras from multiple locations simultaneously at the same time. I would have gave it 5 stars if it had the ability to remember all the cameras installed instead of me having to add back all the cameras after that app is closed

Anyone who is complaining about this app, hasn't completed the setup properly. Once your addressing is correct, connecting is a piece of cake.

Defender app Department are you reading the comments about your app that does not work right I wish I can put 0 stars on that but I can't it does not have zero how about an update

Works great on home network but no luck once you leave that!!! Even have port forwarding all set up!!!! Let me guess, it was made by the lowest bidder!!!!

Once you download and complete the necessary setup, which took a little, the system works excellent.

Using correct settings from my defender dvr used on another free viewer app does not work on this app. This is CRAP as many others agree.

I have a clearvu dvr and above average knowledge of how to set these things up, this app is what i consider a joke. And to top it off, the asee app recommended to me by defender-usa, no longer works either.

Works fine on 4g but does not with wifi. Looking for solution

Complete garbage, it always said.. connect fail, connect fail, connect fail. After trying numerous time I've quit.

No option to flip camera image. Coders for dvr firmware could fix that in a week, tops. Lazy work.

This app works better than Asee no doubt about it.. 4 camera view up to 32 can record via remote on data/ WiFi. No complaints good video quality on my Z1s. Only grip is the QR code scanner doesn't work you have to manually input the ID.

This a great app I can check the house when I was not home

Works good on monitor but picture quality over Internet to another device is mediocre at best. No help number anymore but chat did work but was frustrating.

Using with my Defender 21012 DVR. Everything works perfectly on both my LG G3 phone and also on my Samsung Tab A 9.7". Couldn't ask for more! For PC you need NetViewer 2.0 for those of you searching for THAT solution as well. Hope this helps! Good luck all! :)
