About SPYSS
SPYSS was started in 1980 as a small yoga camp in Tumkur, Karnataka. Since then it has grown to a large organization with 650 free yoga branches across the world with more than 40,000 voluntary teachers and millions of Yoga practitioners in India and abroad. The samiti’s success attributes to the leadership of its Chief Convener – Shri A R Ramaswamyanna, blessings of his holiness late Shri Raghavendraswamiji of Malladihalli, mentoring from late Shri Ajit Kumar and practice methodology of PadmavibhushanDr B K S Iyengar.
The motto of SPYSS is defined as– Sanskar (value based behavior and activites), Sanghatan (identifying oneself with a bigger cause) and Seva (service to humanity). To achieve the above objectives, SPYSS is bringing a salient transformation in the lives of millions of people through its daily yoga classes.
