Rogers One Number Smartphone for Android
Note: The following devices are known to have issues with this app: Samsung Ace IIx; LG Gossip Pro.
Like others have mentioned, the ransom dissappearing text messages. Also you can't reject a call. Also the app sometimes not able to register unless you sign out and sign back in. Has the potential to be 5 stars. Works perfectly as a mock dual sim phone. Perfect for when your one phone is in repair if you're a two cell phone person.
It is annoying it doesn't keep the texts or even get new ones and deletes the new messages before I can read them .used to work good now it sucks
It's dropping every new text AS I READ IT!!! My signal sucks for messaging app, so have no choice but to use 1number, but this is ridiculous! Fix asap!
Way too many issues to use this overseas. Deleted text messages, calls going straight to voice mail (even though it shows registered), unreliable sms deliveries. So many people were complaining that. They never got my texts and I never responded to theirs. Had to delete this app and use voiper which has a flawless rate of reliability and better sound quality.
The best! I love Rogers One umber, sometimes have issues but still I am able to make phone calls, text messages and also I review my voice mail when I am out of the country.
Have to allow both phone & one number to ring simultaneously to receive calls. Does not accept calls when phone sleeps even if left activated. Otherwise works OK.
Often gives 'no account available for SMS' error - have to kill then restart app
Love this app. I don't have my5/10 and I need to call a few friends outside my local calling area. This app is a lifesaver (money saver). Really thankful to Rogers for providing this great service.
horrible app, so much echo, rogers should just work on wifi calling for android
App works reasonable at times, but there are definitely some bugs like the one where new messages are randomly deleted for no reason. That is definitely super annoying and nearly breaks the usefulness of the app. Besides that, the calling feature seems to work decent on my new phone, it was poor quality on my old cell phone.
Some how it updated itself now with the new app updated my battery dies after 1/4 day. I used to get a full day+ out of my phone before needing a charge only change is this app updated itself. I Uninstaller it and battery life goes back to normal reinstalled it and battery dies fast again. So obviously it's this app. How do I reinstall the previous version as it worked fine and currently I don't see any improvement only battery drains.
I just joined it on my computer and it's telling me my number won't work for this. It won't even let sign in to the app
Always go offline when calling. I don't have rogers range in my basement, so using this app to call and receive messages. It sucks, everytime I call after few minutes other side cannot hear anything.
Great app. Love how this saves me on long distance charges. Only gave 4 stars because it cuts out if my Internet signal isn't at least 4 of 5 bars
Went 10 years with crappy signal, now it works even in the basement. Sorted out a double nat and vpn problem and now it works great, tech support stayed with me until it was sorted. Still needs to be able to delete sms in the app.
1. How do you delete the messages? 2. How do you make it the default app? 3. No message preview? 4. How do you sync the messages you have sent using the app with your phone. My messages don't show up in my phone sms app but when I use the default sms app Rogers one sync those messages (so one way syncing)
Doesn't work all the time. I'm less than 5 feet from my router. Sound quality can be very poor. But better than nothing when you don't have cell service in the basement.
As the website says there is an option to save a voice mail. I need to be able to save this particular voice mail, the way the Rogers website says how to save a voice mail is not an option on this app! I am extremely disappointed as I was under the impression I can save this email as an audio file like you advertise to us customers! I call that false advertising
Free long distance and links up with my contacts for easy dialing.
I have been very pleased with this product. I am overseas and to be able to call as if I am at home has been amazing
I haven't had any of the issues others are describing here. I can travel around the world and make and receive calls as though I was home. I don't miss a text because it forwards them all to my email. It rings all my phones when a call comes in simultaneously. I'm loving this.
... for situations when your cell coverage is bad but you have wifi.
It doesn't work most the time, I try to dial a phone number on a website and it tells me to log in or account invalid.
When someone tries to call me it goes straight to voice mail.
This app wants an emergency address ....since I do not live in a city it will not accept me.....if Rogers wants food to eat and stay alive then get with the program!!!!
The up date did NOTHING but change the color of the icon...it STILL receives one message 6 times...then promptly deletes it as you are trying to read it...I'm going to loose clients if I keep using this bullshit...And don't get me started on call quality. Please hire someone who has made an app before @Rogers cuz this is a sad joke
Can't even log in to see if it works. Calling customer service is a waste of time
App stopped working after I updated to Kernel. Fix it rogers so that it's usable again !!!
Recently used while in Dominican Republic. ..AWESOME! !! UPDADE...As of June 2 AND the MARSHMALLOW UPDATE the app keeps logging out and won't stay connected. Please help!! Fix the problem please!! Used to love it now I hate it!
Very choppy for people on other end and will not connect most times the first time you phone someone. You have to phone them, then hang up then phone them right back again. I have a very good high speed Internet connection, great wireless signal strength and people on other end of the call say I keep cutting out and only catch every other word. This doesn't happen all the time but most of the time.
Not good for my phone and computer. Always having problems connecting and getting messages on time. You Can't call me when I am using the app, I am not receiving notification... Can't get help from Rogers and support page is summary info.
I don't understand why you can't log me in
App is just okay. Sound quality is not the greatest when I use other other apps it sound perfect.
Exelent choice when the we don't have Rogers towers available in the areas.
Right from the start with the 911 address registration not supporting the mobile screen you know you're in for a weak experience. Poor app from start to finish
I've used this while traveling and have had many issues with dropped calls and poor reception.
Promising, but seems a bit buggy...
Eats the battery, use GCM like every other app instead of polling so frequently.
New unread msgs will STILL randomly auto delete themselves right in front of your eyes when conversations are opened. No way to manually delete conversations. No MMS picture message support. No ability to mute individual contacts. Voice transmission quality poor and delayed; person on the other end usually hears echo, even when reception is fine. The only reason I continue to use this app is so people can call my regular number when I don't have a signal, which is rather often with Rogers.

The early version 2 years ago from that app was wonderful but now it sucks. It doesn't connect when it's running in the background so it doesn't receive msgs or phone calls so what's the benefit from it. Second it used to connect easily and be more stable but now it disconnects a lot and it is really BAD. I hope u can return back the original version.
