Rogers Anyplace TV

Seriously, you guys are a multi billion $ media conglomerate and your app constantly crashes? Then you charge insane monthly prices for limited content? I'm done with Rogers for life, thanks. Will def make sure I go out of my way to write horrid reviews wherever applicable.

All new app, still no Google cast support. I really wish these ratings meant something. This app has always had terrible reviews but it doesn't seem to matter. I would literally never use this app and instead use Sportsnet's app if they had all the NBA games I wanted. Much better app.

The app was working fine for a short while since the latest update, but now it won't even open up. It kicks me out before the app could even open. Also more content could be added as well as updated. An example would be the Food network. Those shows are outdated and would like to see the more popular shows on there like Chopped. Disney Junior could have more Mickeys Clubhouse, Sophia, etc. These are just examples.

*Response to your question: Yes several times. Abruptly signs you off and won't sign back on. Some Channels saying not compatible with device. opted to download again after a year. an how about that same issues. still has internal server error and won't sign you on.

Garbage, like all other Rogers products lately. Linked my account days ago and it still tells me I have no Rogers account so I cannot do anything on the app. Can you please get something right once and a while

Its actually not Anyplace TV. Its Can Only Be Used in Canada TV. Legit brutal that I cannot use this app while travelling in the US. I should have subscribed to MLB TV if I had known that I was going to be deprived of Jays games for 8 days. Update: I have no idea how to reply to a comment by Rogers on my review, but perhaps indicate in the description of the app that it cannot be used outside of Canada. I could have made a more informed decision on how to handle the ability to access Jays games before I left the country.

Rogers On Demand description - "Watch Rogue One online on Rogers Anyplace TV." Open Rogers Anyplace TV - no option for Rogers On Demand, or the movie you are looking for. Contact support through live chat and told that if it isn't in new releases, then it isn't online. Rogers Anyplace TV doesn't have an option for New Releases. Confusion and frustration abound!

THIS APP COULD NOT BE MORE USELESS, INCONSISTENT, OR UNRELIABLE. Not once have I been able to use this app without a problem. I have tried to use this piece of garbage across multiple devices and multiple platforms, and have I have been disappointed with every attempt. On most devices I've tried, a pop up that says that location services need to be on and that it may take a few moments to load shows up on the screen even when location services are enabled - it never loads. I tried it once a nexus 5 and the battery died before any video playback began (battery was at 60%). On devices where this app doesn't have a problem with acquiring location, live channels are incredibly poor quality and also take a long time to load. Even if these problems were not so severe, this app would still be garbage in comparison to Bell's five TV app. I can't browse, or even view a list of all of the channels that I pay for on my cable plan. As someone who uses their phone a decent amount for watching live TV (or at least, someone who used to before signing up with Rogers), I could not be more disappointed with the quality of this absolute waste of space of an app. If you're not already with, Rogers DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM.

Crashing like a drunk at a bumper car convention. And how hard is it to say what's playing on the live tv sports channels. I have to play the guessing game to see what game is on what station. What a joke.

Worked well for years, but now doesn't even launch. When I try again, android says the app keeps stopping. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling with the same results. Same thing on Android M and N. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . RESPONSE TO DEV: What other troubleshooting is there to do, Maude?

I managed to log in but programming is unwatchable. Things are fine for a few minutes and then the repeated buffering starts. I have an excellent WiFi signal and do not have this issue with any other streaming service.

Horrible experience. No Chromecast support, doesn't keep my login stored, crashes often. Had to delete because it was more of a pain than a service.

The content needs to be updated more regularly. I can find recent episodes online, but on this app the episodes are weeks, even months behind. I would like to be able to watch my shows on my tablet, not have to use my computer all the time.

Can't get past login without app crashing. Not sure why they make a new app that doesnt work and works as well as old app.

I don't understand why I have to do any work at all for you to fix this app. I don't work for Rogers. I pay Rogers to fix this thing. I will not reach out to anyone. You will do what I pay you to do and fix this app. .......new reply. You give me the same answer every time. I am not going to reach out. YOUR Multimillion dollar organisation will get a team together to fix this. You notice the long line up of unhappy customers? Help them.

It broadcasts the same hockey channel on 2 different stations but didn't have the leaf game on. Very disappointing.

Ever since the new android update the app will not open. It'll just say app has closed please restart app.

Seriously needs build to cover more channels, this is very lagging in the industry. Only good for Sportsnet, where is Sportsnet one also

This app won't let me sign in using my Rogers sign in credentials. Absolutely useless!

App crashes on Android 7.0 on Galaxy S7. I can log in but the app eventually freezes and I have to kill it.

Better than old app, works well. Only problem is that TSN is not offered with all chanels and that is petty!

It doesn't work! Especially now with the Nougat upgrade. No Chromecast option is utterly idiotic.

Can not use my android tv box with this app. What's the point? Rogers sucks and this app proves it.
