«Робинзон Крузо» (англ. Robinson Crusoe) — роман Даниэля Дефо, впервые опубликованный в апреле 1719 года, названный по имени главного героя. This book gave rise to the classic English novel and created a fashion for pseudo-fiction; it is often called the first "true" novel in English.

The plot of the novel, most likely based on the true story of Alexander Selkirk, the boatswain vessel «Cinque Ports» («Sankey Port"). Selkirk are extremely quarrelsome and quarrelsome character, in 1704 he was landed on his own request on a desert island, equipped with weapons, food, seeds and tools. On this island Selkirk lived until 1709.
