About Grocery List - rShopping

Flexible yet Easy
Are you looking for a powerful yet easy to use grocery list on your phone? With rShopping Grocery List, the more you use it, the better it gets.

Fully Loaded
rShopping Grocery List includes a sample shopping list of over 300 commonly purchased products but can be used for other types of shopping as well. You can add your own stores and items, or replace the built in list entirely.

Android Wear Support
When you are near a store and you need some items, your watch will show a notification.

Send Shopping List by E-mail or SMS
Check off the items needed while at home and then send an e-mail or SMS of that list to a shopping companion for their trip home. The list can even be arranged by aisle, so that your buddy can complete the task quickly.

Remembers Prices
The last price entered at each store is remembered. rShopping Grocery List has a warning when you are about to purchase an item that was less expensive at another store. Eventually, rShopping Grocery List can predict the total cost of your next shopping trip.

Arrange Lists Efficiently
Extensive sorting options are available. You can arrange stores and labels by up to three different options, each ascending or descending. rShopping Grocery List remembers the arrangement used for each store and label. You can even save a set of sort options for later.

In-Store Basket
An optional "Basket" may be used while shopping to keep a running total of the items you have selected so far. Check off items while in the store and when you are done shopping, use the "Checkout" menu item to quickly mark all of the items in your basket as purchased.

Item Details
Items may have barcodes, pictures, prices (for each store), aisles (for each store), priorities (for each store) and more. Items may also be tagged with any number of "Labels" defined by you.

Barcode Scanning
rShopping Grocery List is compatible with several barcode scanning apps, including:
ZXing http://goo.gl/uJXPH
ixMat http://goo.gl/8Sbbn
Goggles http://goo.gl/BctQA
Pic2Shop http://goo.gl/vQlbL1
QuickMark Barcode http://goo.gl/TawVi
Barcode Scanner http://goo.gl/JtNxo
QR Barcode Reader http://goo.gl/p4x9IN
● and more
Barcodes may be assigned to more than one item and multiple barcodes may be assigned to each item. Scan a barcode and the item(s) with that barcode instantly appear(s).

Quickly Make a List
Press the button to the left of an item's name to indicate whether it is needed (a red X), purchased (a green check), or in the basket (a yellow basket).

Powerful Search
For fast searching when a list of items is displayed, tap the Search Here button at the top of the screen or slide out your physical keyboard (on some Android phones).

Hide the Clutter, See only Needed Items
Tabs at the top of the item list show and hide items that are needed, in the basket, and/or purchased. More than one of these tabs may be chosen at any time. See this video: http://goo.gl/NojfeL

Handy Shopper Replacement
rShopping Grocery List is a good choice for those who miss HandyShopper.

I LOVE this app, but how do I do the tax percentage??? Please reply OR email me....thanks! ;-)

Best shopping list app on Android. One of extremely few apps (like ToMarket) that lets you assign more than one store per item. Only thing missing is cloud sync (storing of list) for syncing across devices and ability to add items via Google Now.

The more I use the app, the better I like it and the faster I can do things. I have been using this app for about a month now and really like its ease of use and flexibilty. You can update and change things on the fly from a number of screens very easily ( price, store, move items on and off lists, and more so easily). You can customize the sort order, aisle info, packaging, description, etc. Once an item is listed, making a store list quickly is a breeze! Really well designed app! I might offer suggestions to make it work even better, but I fear it may hurt what works really well now - if it ain't broke . . .

Best shopping list. but would be nice to have more price possibilities. some items may be sold pro stuck and pro kg, even in one store ... and oft good to knew both prices, as also stores can have periodical actions- and this prices would be nice to have possibility also to note

Still love it!!

Love that items can be listed in different stores. If I don't get it in the one I will see it as needed in the other. I can make up my own aisle system with only the items I shop for, it's totally personalized, no cluttering by things I don't shop for. Also, my phone died but the data seemed to have been backed up by Google. I didn't lose anything - big plus.

Back again! Hoping you are strongly considering an apple iphone version. I installed and tried most of the apple store apps. None of them had the all the features I need. They are not close to matching your app! March 2017 update: once I figure out how to set up and use, it's been great! Very useful. Is there an iPhone version? Thanks to this app has the ability to take pictures for the item needed and additional notes, I am final free of the 17 yrs of taking my children to stores with me because there is no way they can complain I forgot something or I bought the wrong item.

While I still love the design of this app it really is a pain not being able to log onto my computer (at home), look in my pantry, and add items to my shopping list as needed. I "really" wish there was a way to log in through my computer also.

Lots of useful features, easy to learn!

This app has made shopping so much easier. I love it. You can sort items by aisle so you don't have to go back for missed items. You can put labels on foods so you can basically save recipes on the app so that if you are in the grocery store and decide I want {Insert new recipe you like with a lot of ingredients} for dinner than you can pull up all of the ingredients that you need to make that meal. Items can have multiple labels so it is easy to create recipe labels. UPDATE: I have now learned that you can create additional lists. So I currently have my GROCERY LIST which has different stores that have different foods saved on the lists and I can see what foods I need at what stores (foods can also be at multiple stores and you can prioritize which store you like to buy that item at (milk is cheaper at Costco than my regular grocery store)). But now I have my PACKING LIST that has all of the things I need to pack. I have Labels for each of my family members, for each of the rooms in my house, and events we may be doing (summer packing, winter packing). Items can be searched by person or by room. LOVE IT!!

Almost as good as Handy Shopper, which I used on a Palm with no internet. The only other Handy Shopper feature I want that rShopping List seems not to have and I don't know if it's even possible to have is automatic sorting within the list when I add an item to Need. I know, 1st world problem. At least now after several months' use I remember to press the "sort" button.

Love this 'grocery list' app! Multiple stores with customized products for each, or put the same item in sev eral stores for price comparisons. Tick off items as you shop so you always know what's left.

Z70%
by Z####:

Three stars because this is time consuming to use - perhaps only at the start. I wanted something quick and easy. This one hopes to optimize your money, which requires more time than I want to spend within an app. Perhaps I try it again some other day.

Z70%
by Z####:

All that is missing is list synching so lists can be shared with family members rather than just emailed to one another. Add this, and this becomes hands down the most feature rich grocery shopping app in the play store.

Z70%

Best shopping list app available.

Z70%
by Z####:

rShopping List is my go to app for everyday purchases for food and household items. I can use Labels to set up a project which might then have stuff to get from several stores. Before I leave to shop, I drag and drop the stores in the order I want to visit them. Use coupon reminder at checkout. Use the calculator to pick best price per unit out of multiple choices.

This app is awesome! I have been looking for a replacement for my much-loved Handyshopper ever since I retired my Palm Pilot and this is it! I use it for so many things besides grocery shopping and was lost with it. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

A most excellent app. Has more than enough features for me and almost everybody. Home screen widgets are very handy. Developer is very on top of things and responds to emails quickly.

Z70%

I love that you can have an item in multiple stores and when you buy it, it is marked off in all the stores.

Z70%

This is one of the best, most well-designed apps I have ever seen. Lots of great features and user configurability. Nice job!

Z70%

rShopping is a truly magnificent app! It has tons of features, but don't let that stop you. You can start with a single store and a simple list of items, then learn all the ins & outs as you decide you need them. My shopping is a complete breeze now that I have everything set up to take maximum advantage of all the goodies, from making my list to comparing prices to zipping around stores aisle by aisle to checkout to checking my receipt. You want this app!

K70%
by K####:

This app does NOT recognize grocery stores. It does NOT have prices of items at any grocery stores. It appears you have to manually enter every single item and manually enter every detail and price of each item. My time is valuable, I don't have time for data entry. All in all, this appears to be a database app that only you populate with data. No suggestions, no price comparison (unless you plug in the price for 2 stores). Too basic and not interactive enough.

I70%
by I####:

I've been using this app for quite sometime now and I really like it. The only thing I want changed is when you tap the 'need' and 'got' it tabs, it will show it rather than hiding it because it's kindy confusing.. you always want to tap something to select and show it rather than the opposite, if this can be done it will certainly be a five stars to me

Z70%
by Z####:

So far (a few weeks), it is exactly what I've been looking for. I wish I had found it earlier. The functionality is just what I wanted and easy to use. Thanks! LATER... Still extremely pleased. It is both easy to use and filled with features I am still exploring months later.

Z70%
by Z####:

I only just happened across this app and it turns out to be the perfect solution to my needs. Highlights: track individual stores, track items per store, whether taxable or not (love) , compare prices between stores, scan bar codes for items, customizable interface, and I am sure there is so much more I have yet to discover. Whenever the developer decides to charge for this app, I will definitely buy it.

U70%
by U####:

Configurable and easy to use. I've been using electronic shopping lists for years in many operating systems, and this one is the best. The only thing that the developer could improve on, is syncing between devices. Thanks and keep up the good work.

A70%
by A####:

There's item categorization, as the developer stated, but the app is still very confusing. Using Material Design should help.

Z70%
by Z####:

This app has most capabilities I want, and all that I need. I know none that have them all, but this one's the best I've seen. Comes with a huge database of items. Has list items that don't go away once you get them. Rather, it lets you check them as you need them and uncheck them after you bought them. Has many fields such as aisle, multiple and customizable label assignments (e.g. bread, organic, gluten free) which the can be filtered. Has bar code scanning (awesome) and price compares between stores. Even has check boxes for items that you have coupons for and you can sort on coupons to see if you missed an item that has a coupon or if you're missing a coupon you wanted to bring. The ONLY NEGATIVE (and potentially big one) that I see is that it doesn't automatically sync with rShopping apps for family members. This also tells me that it probably stores all my customizations on my phone rather than the cloud and I'd lose my lists if I factory reset my phone if I forget to back it up. Maybe it uses the SD card so reset wouldn't do that. Maybe there's an automatic backup feature I haven't seen yet (just started using this).

Started using recently and love the mic feature and the ability to list all the stores you need to go to and for what items. A time saver, organized and convenient. A scanner feature for comparison shopping . Check it out, you can always uninstall if you need a different app.

The ease of use, ability to customize, and inclusion of multiple widgets have made the one of my favorite and most used apps. And it's free! Thank you.

It's a great app. For me because I can use more then one store, it ads up what I owe so I know what I spend, I don't go over my income.
