Silent Time Donation for Android
It basically works, meaning it silences and unsilences as scheduled. Other features don't work, such as allowing calls to ring through for people on the exception list. I think Lollipop has a new do not disturb feature that interferes with how this app works now. Nexus 6P.
Simply and completely allows one to schedule or instantly set silent time with or without user defined exceptions. I decided to donate the $5, because I've been using the app for about 4 months and it's never failed or caused a problem. The free version works great, is not feature or function limited, has no ads and no irritating "Gimme a good review" nag screens, which makes Silent Time worth the $5.00 on principle alone, in my opinion.
has stopped working since the Android 5 update has been installed.
I Love this app, bought pro to support dev. Quick response to emailed suggestions. Only drawback is profiles don't migrate from lite to pro
Works great! Just wish you could choose to not have the icon in the notification bar.
Long time paid buyer, exceptions stopped working needs update, Evo 3D.
Like Jennifer, I've been uing this app for a while and have been thrilled -- enough to thank the writers by paying for the app. Definite recommend!!!
Exceptions not working from day one.been patiently waiting for a fix but so far nothing.don't buy if you expect that function to work.
On Mot droid works well but would like to be able to allow some aps notification like severe weather alerts to over ride quiet.
Simple and straightforward. Thanks for a great app. Been using the lite version for a while.. not sure what extras are here but figured I'd support the developer.
Great app. Suggestions: exclusion per schedule. Be able to schedule airplane mode, and WiFi on/off. If this is included, ill rate it 5 stars.
Never fails. Recommended it to all my friends
Good program. Gets the job done. But I prefer tasker lately..more options but not as easy to set up :)
Worked well until lots of updates came through - no longer cancelling silence - uninstalled
Please add SMS functionality to Exceptions
Use to love this app. Now I have to cancel and renable events to make the phone go silent.
Best of similar on Droid market.
Love it! Would be nice to reorder events already set up.
Most useful app on mmy phone. Works flawlessly for me and does exactly what I need. Used for classes, work, sleep. Thank you developer thank you.
Awesome app. I love it. Does exactly what it says.
I'm leaving Android soon and my biggest regret is that I can't get this app for the iPhone.
You are worth the money
This needs to have an override feature-- I was out late and my wife tried to call me, couldn't get through. :-(
I have this app since 2011. It worked great until I installed in on my Samsung Galaxy S3. It allows 877, 800, and local numbers to ring thru that is telemarketers. No calls should come thru but my exceptions list. I have 5 people on my exceptions list and their calls are not coming thru. Fix it and I will go back to it. If not I am looking for another app. I don't mind spending the money if it makes me happy, and this is not making me happy. Also, this app has not been updated since May 6, 2012. Shirell --

It works great. It even works with Google Voice. I've been using the free version for a few months now, so I decided to support it. Suggestions for future updates: + Support white lists for notifications. Some people just refuse to call. + Add a feature that resets the volume either on schedule, or after so long of being turn down/off. Often times I find the volume during the daytime either turned down because I bumped the volume keys, or silent because I was in a meeting and forgot to reset it. I would love to have this app watch for that, and reset it for me.
I've been using this app since I started on Android and donated shortly afterwards. Once I got my times finalized I didn't change anything it for months and then only because I changed jobs and then changed phone. From this experience I would like to request two extra features. 1. A cloud sync of the schedule to Dropbox and/or Google Drive for backup and easy transfer between devices. 2. In addition to the pure silent mode, could we have a quiet option where the volume can be set around 20%-40%. My current employer allows ringers on, but I don't want full volume.
Im using since day one Im on Android and it us useful. Decided to go pay version to reward the creator. Wish it has option to have backup and restore the setting in future.
Have been using the free version for over a year, and love it. Through the recent upgrade, I noticed the option to donate for the app - this is a great app, works well, allows exceptions, and is useful. I'm glad to pay for it!
Great app...no more wrong numbers in the middle of night. Droid user. Update...I upgraded my phone to the Galaxy Nexus and the app still works great. My only complaint is that it sets off a notification sound when it activates.
This WAS an excellent app. Unfortunately the "exceptions" are NOT ringing through on my new phone (Galaxy Note 2)...and NO response from the developer on a fix. : (
Exception list is not working
i laugh at the new iPhone commercials about the do not disturb feature... !
Works perfectly.
Well worth the donation
This is pretty good!
This was the one thing I was missing from my Blackberry, now I have this and its even better than my old berry. Perfect, buy the pro and support the developer.
I have been using the lite version for some time and love it. Decided it was time to support the devs :) wish the widget had more theme options though
Works as advertised on N1. Would be a lot better with support for contact group and Google Calendar sync.

This is a great app, and like others have commented, it was one of the first apps I found for my first smartphone. It's also the least troublesome of all the apps I've used. I thought I had donated before, but I had not.
