Pi Music Player

Only a few kinks to work out... Maybe make font smaller to see more of the file name. Also genre list doesn't allow to delete if no songs are in it. I'll delete, go out come in and find again genre's I dont have or any song is attributed to. Delete doesn't delete. Maybe put a quick volume adjustment shortcut, like swipe on screen instead of going into volume menu. Adding a song to playlist from list doesn't Work, adding song to queue doesn't work either. Besides that it's awesome

This apps is so great. Best player I have ever used. Simple interface, no ads and the best part is the equalizer. Very easy to tune the sounds as I wanted. The bass, mid and treble is easy to control (yeah.. I use crappy headphones). And it only take 5 band. Unlike those other players with 10-20 band equalizer they called premium but never got the right sound. :v

I absolutely love this app, but I have just put 1 star here to draw ur attention to this post. I have just one issue, I am a person who randomly throws tracks on my device and would love to delete them while listening so as to eliminate the song from my device which don't click with. I couldn't not find this function which is my only complaint with this app. Otherwise the design layout and functionality are way better than most paid apps.

I downloaded this app because the default Android player was very limited and expected little more from this app but against my expectations it was an enjoyable experience. It has a simple and intuitive layout; the sleep timer was a welcome improvement and the ability to change song info was also handy. The only negatives that I could think of is that the notification can only be closed by the cross in the corner on the lock screen which lead to accidentally closing it once or twice unintentionally.

There's not a lot of good MP3 player apps around, but this is definitely not one of them. Has a great sense of organization for your music and has other great features. I haven't tested everything out yet, but I'm sure it'll be tight though. I do, however, hope they have the reverb equalizer in it because the Concert Halo ambience sounds amazing; if they don't, then it's all good, but I'd REALLY like it to have that.

I have tried a lot of players and most of them do not have all of the features I want. One of the main features I like is the ability to select music through the folder view which most programs do not have. I liten to a lot of different music including music in other languages so I need the folder view because when programs alphabetize tracks and albums everything gets messed up because of the different languages of the different music I listen to and oftentimes the players do not support the fonts.

Where has this app been all my smart-phone-owning-life? Clean, simple, does everything a music app should. Slick interface, easy to use. Lots of nice little features that really make this app (eg settable default folder) the more I dig the more I find. Pure magic. Only gripe is folder lists don't retain their state when you go back to them, otherwise top notch app. Definitely paying for the full version. Love the ad-free preview btw, very clever. Does crash a LOT though (worth it anyway since it resumes)

I could leave a very long, detailed explanation for why I didn't like this app, but suffice it to say, the layout is sub-optimal and cannot be personalized whatsoever. Users are stuck using the app the exact way that the devs made it and cannot change anything beyond the color scheme. I'd recommend Rocket Player over this, if for nothing else but the ability to personalize pretty much everything.

Need some improvements. Force closes often. And it stops when you clean all active tasks, a music app must not stop like that so fix it. Add few more themes. And when you edit a song details, it changes to default if you cleared data of app. So make it able to change details for permanent.

Wasn't expecting the great quality I got!! It's easy to download, to organize & listen to your favorite songs. But when i actually played my music---the bass & equalizer was definitely on point! I also LUV the feature of listening to music played in a small/medium room, or a medium hall! Great effect! Now if I get issue with anything related to app- my rating will have issues to-lol! But for now--- this is a great app!

A short and sweet review. The app itself works great. That being said, I'd love to see a few things added and/or improved upon. The widget doesn't always function as it should; more often than not it functions as a launcher for the app and not as it's own functioning entity. I'd also like to see the option to favorite artists, albums, and tracks. Overall, a great music player.

So far: - Not working: Widget, Equalizer And Rate APP Button. - To verify / Expect: See if I can have a play list by folder (Folder Play. So I can pick an Artist without dumb mp3 tags). - Rating 3 stars for the stuff not working. However it is a really Good Free Player. I'll come back to rate 5 start once fixed.

Omg how could you not give this app 5 stars. You must be crazy! This app categories each song perfectly. You can add awesome back grounds. NO ADS yes. You can make your music really POP out., P.s. BaSs. Get it, this is the best app ever

I have had this player for a while now, it is a great player that us easy to navigate and a simple click of the three dots on the play list page gives me lots of features. The biggest problem I have found it that when I close the app it somehow gets restarted on my Galaxy S6 and I find it playing unexpectedly which is embarrassing when I am in the middle of an important meeting. I can find no reason for the constant restarting but would like it fixed please

I like it for the fact that it still remains on my notification bar after being paused when I enter a game. Though, it doesn't seem to erase a track from my library after it's deleted or have a better layout on the notification bar for easy access. Been using Rocket Player and so far it's the best. This app could really improve.

A really nice app for Android, a really simple music player. Only problem is, when i select a few songs to play next, they always play in the same order, that being the last song in the list first, regardless of the selection order. It would be nicer if we could select which songs go first, as the constant order makes it boring. 5 stars if you fix this!

Im alway skeptical about trying a new music app due to the fact I use it almost everyday. I haven't found one that suited all my needs. This one does! It kept all my playlists that I made from another app and has a nice wigit. I wish I had the option to switch from a 4x1 to a 5x1 wigit, but otherwise awesome app.

It's does a great job of playing songs sounds good as well. This is not the same as all the other players out there. If u restart your phone it starts you off were you was. You don't have to start over like some I've used. Does not start with the same song all the time.. give it a try

As many have said, the app is easy to use and nice looking compared to the default player. You can also easily switch between menus and it doesn't crash on me like the other one! The only thing that sometimes bothers me is when I try to change a song's album into a different one, those who have the same album name (like unknown or music) would follow the song into that new album name :( ps. The shuffle button makes clicking the last song's options harder

I usually don't do reviews, but this music player made me do it. Best equalizer + best ui + best features = pi music player. It seems the developers has put in great effort. I have hold back one star because it does not detect new songs immediately, should provide functionality to rescan all the folders for newly added songs.

Good sound quality and interface, but is unable to play some albums tracks in sequence, even though track file names are numbered.. However, only really an issue on iTunes files converted by windows/Android transfer of m4a files. If you can transfer without converting, works fine.

After trying for a few minutes, i decided to immediately purchase no ads + theme package to help developers. Great sound quality, fine UI, beautiful theme, i just love this app. Minor bug that i found is whenever i restart my phone, the 3D reverb sfx is automatically kick-in even though i have it disabled. Switching the sfx on-off help to solve this problem but it will be better if this bug can be solved by the developer so it doesn't occur anymore.

This app is fab and looks good. My only issue is that when assigning an album cover to any given album, the next one you try to assign takes on the previous picture as well. Maybe I'm missing something but I can't find a way to fix this?

I like the sound quality and control. Ads are there but not so bad. Google music was asking to buy their program almost everyday got tired of it and got this one instead. Works great so far. Takes up small space too

It stopped working when I'm posting something on instagram. When I get back to the apps, it won't play the last song, does not respond to any tapping. Only works again after shut down, clear and re-open.

Awesome UI, easy interface equalizer working properly runs smoothly just awesome would recommend to everyone... Decreased 2 stars cause it doesn't allow you to organize or edit our Playlists.... Adding this feature would be a great help.

Everything about this app is great, except for the fact that it shows voice memos which renders it unusable for me. I don't really want my voice memos being blasted when I'm trying to listen to music and if I delete them, it deletes them from my phone even after getting a new memo app. If there is a work around I will be happy to give 5 stars but for now I will be migrating to another app .

I'm loving this, and so far. There a few options I wish it had with regards to how it displays/organizes your music, but overall I'm very happy with this. Update; did you remove flac playback? Rebooted my device and flac played again. Weird.

Suggest below improvements then I feel it's worth FIVE STARS 1) While browsing "FOLDERS" there shall be option showing alphabets A to Z something as available in "ALBUMS". 2) While browsing "FOLDERS" when we come out of any Folder, screen goes back to first folder and you have to start scrolling again all the way down where you were before entering that Folder. 3) If possible, give option to link playlists stored online I'm Box or so. HOPE DEVELOPER WILL TAKE THESE ON BOARD.

The app works great but there are 2 big issues I noticed, sometimes when a headphone jack is connected the audio will stop playing and not play until the app is force closed. If Im not using the app and want to play lets say a youtube video through bluetooth the application will prohibit audio until it is force stopped, it can be very fristrating as LG nor android have a default music player for android 7.0, 2nd problem is if the app is completely closed out you cant access the app through the home widget

I absolutely love this player! It looks beautiful, runs incredibly smoothly, the in-built equalizer is brilliant and best of all, it doesn't lose its place when you rotate your screen while scrolling! The only problem is that on smaller devices, you can't type in the search bar while the screen is horizontal. Otherwise it's fantastic!

This app is just perfect with its options and interface... There's no competition at all! But if you guys could get a more creative icon... It's going to be invincible! Anyway kudos to you guys. People looking for a music player, get it right away! :)

Have bought the full version with the skins. Outstanding. Please add the option to open an artist album after clicking on the artist instead of getting all the tracks. It would be easier to navigate... It is absolutely the best music player for Android. Simply. Update : thanks a lot for implementing my request in the 27 October update!!! You guys are awesome!!!

I removed all traces of previous music players from all my Android devices replacing them with this Pi Music Player. So many good features to customize the sound you want to hear from your music library. No need to look any farther. Install it and put the ear phones on and enjoy!

Best player yet, simple as that. So pleased, I've just PAID GOOGLE some money ! I'm a freebie man, but I don't regret spending on this. Let's hope it stays this good. Now I'm pissed off. Can't use it on my Moto X Force, as well as Samsung.

I spent so much time making a playlist and when I restarted my phone it was gone. I made a new one and then it got deleted again after i restarted my phone. Why?! Would gladly pay for this app if you stop deleting my playlist!

This is a clean and simple app to use. But every time I try to manipulate (delete) any genres title, it'll just reappear after this app is restarted. For that reason and not being able to edit more of the files, I think this app was a waste of money.

because this app is unbelievably great. I payed for the add free. and I also love the new features. not sure if I can send feedback through the app so I'll do it here: I would like to be able to go to the song that is playing from any place in the interface. oh and not having to leave the search to do it

The app would be great if it didn't crash so much. Plus there's a huge lag if you've shut off your phone and you're trying to get back into the music. Or if you're trying to add song to Playlist. It's good-ish, but I'm switching.

Keeps its position after being restarted, which my stock player hasn't managed to do even after vendor had said "this release fixes it" for 2 years. Glad to have moved to a better player
