Gorillaz

All in all it is a wonderful app, but I do think the Android version is a little buggy. I understood the concept, it is easy to grasp and interactive which I love. Brings me back to the Demon Days with Kong Studios tours! Well done there, but on my android it just shows up as a camera with no special effects. I tried to reload the app and restart my phone but nothing. I put the app on my iPod (Apple device) and it worked perfectly! I just think it needs a little fixing for the Android users.

I believe this app has potential, and I'm a huge Gorillaz fan, but nothing is working for me. No floating objects. No going to other people's rooms. I think it has to do with me having an android? I'm not really an apple user, I prefer Android, and I don't want to get something else just to use this app. I would gladly give it a better rating if you could make it work more efficiently?

The android one is very buggy. No floating options and I got no interactions by looking around. My screen went black and I'd just tap the screen randomly and then sometimes it would take me to a room... same with the rooms themselves. Still a fun app tho! I hope it improves. I'll be trying again because I'd like to see a character

It's beautiful and extremely fun, but do NOT assume it's for all ages. Murdocs room has some weird stuff in it that may be disturbing to younger audiences. Just monitor young ones if they play in case you're sensitive to content.

It's fun and reminds me of the good times I had on the Gorillaz website exploring back in the day, but I'd love it if they added more to this! It's great, but feels a bit short. As far as I can tell, you can enter all their bedrooms and the main living space... No creepy basement?? I know the house is small, but I'm desperate for Gorillaz exploring stuff. Also, why is only Noodle around, and whose footsteps are those in the main room? I'm watching the doorways, but no one is passing. Ghost? Just creaky floorboards? Am I missing something?

The app uses your phone camera to explore the Gorillaz latest home in London, with VR compatability and great use of the 360 motion camera. Like Plastic Beach and Kong Studios before it, you can click various items to be taken to Spotify play lists and various interviews, and YouTube. I think it's fantastic to explore their new home, but wouldn't mind meeting the band mates again to make it even more immersive.

Love the app! It works well! It's great and a tip for the many people who cant get it to work: !! "IT PULLS UP MY CAMERA AND SAYS TO TAKE A LOOK AROUND" !! Yes ! It does, and its telling you to look for a floating TV. I looked up and it fell. Press the TV and it'll bring you to their living room. Have fun!

Managed to get into one area some how the kitchen area I think and then can't make it work again moved camera around for a long time and nothing came up. Also when I take a picture it just comes out black

Potential... But has issues. I am a long time Gorillaz fan, so an app is something I have wanted for a while. Sadly my phone lacks a gyroscope, so it does not work properly. The floating objects that you are meant to find to touch don't load. So if I just keep touching all over my screen, I can "interact" with invisible objects. I made it to one room, but none of the interactive objects are visible, but I know where they are, and if I touch the location, it will load the interaction. It's a shame it relies on gyroscope. :( Also, why are the tracklists ONLY for Spotify? My county does NOT have Spotify... So that kind of sucks.

I felt it would be something like a Gorillaz Avatar creator of some sort, it would have been really cool if we could create our own version of a Gorillaz character. Disappointed but still, waiting eagerly for the album

I was very excited to download this app since it was released but when i downloaded and opened it is why i give this 2 stars. When i opened it it didnt show the house or anything like the pics or preview video. All i get is how you see like an actual camera. Also i have an Android phone, possibly thats the reason? I hope its fixed soon though, as a big Gorillaz fan I am disappointed.

This is amazing! A perfect way to make you feel like your in the gorillaz home! And if it only shows your camera, its supposed to do that! Just move your phone around and you should see some floating objects like 2Ds mask! So you click on it! Great job gorillaz!

I am a huge fan of the gorillaz but this app sadly doesn't work at all. When I start up the app the camera just turns on and I see what's around me. I don't see the gorillaz house at all. If this app were to actually work, i would probably rate it highly. It's a great idea.

It would be Really dope if they added content from the old gorillaz website also! Really cool app, and the listening party should be sweet. I did think there should be an app or website that is all the gorillaz content since that dope buggie game...

Pretty smooth and quirky. Definitely worth a go for your bucket list. Basically a flashy app with a buncha sweet links. Can't complain..it was very human, indeed. Buggy for droids.. ? I never had an issue with my THC yet.

It took me a while, but I found murdoc. So I got my phone and slept next to him. Good times..

I love the Gorillaz, as is evident by my profile picture. However, this app could be a bit better. I love that's it's immersive and interactive but it would be nice to see more of the band's members than just Noodle, and to explore more rooms, though I understand it's a different setting, not like it's Plastic Beach or anything. Also, a few of the links don't work exactly as I assume they're supposed to. Overall, it's a great app, especially if you've been a long-time Gorillaz family like myself.

It's great so far, but could you make it to where we could explore their house? And maybe add the band members, have them show up occasionally

I LOVE gorillaz, so im very sad that the app wont work for me i guess its because i have an android. This app needs to be fixed before ALOT of people get upset but i hope it gets fixed i really wanna experience it.

I love it. Although I wish there was more. Also, why is 2D's room so creepy? It reminded me of like something that would be in one of those oculus rift horror games.

It's just... There's no point, the camera navigation is shaky, interaction is 90% links to leave the app, very heavy TMobile advertising that doesn't make sense when it takes you there. It's like an interactive wallpaper that's just links.

The app worked fine until I tried to click on the links to the websites they gave me. It would send me to the right site but then immediantly switch to the gorillaz official site, in which all you can really do is buy albums and watch music videos. So it wasn't really working for me.

I AM SO DEPRESSED OMG. I GOT SO HYPED AND ALL I CAN SEE IS A GRAY SCREEN ;¬; But 5 stars because I be Gorillaz trash anyways :P

I love gorillaz with all my heart but cmon guys. The app just opens my camera and tells me to look around. Hope this gets and update soon.

I don't know what to think: on my Android device when I open the app I get a camera, tells me to look around and offers the chance to take a photo and then share it. Beyond that I have no idea if it's supposed to do anything else and I definitely don't need another app to share a photo.

Decided to retry the app. For some reason the little things only appeared above me? I'm glad to know it works. Perfectly fine with it this way.

Really awesome if youre a fan of gorillaz. Although it takes time to find the band members. But at least you can get a glimpse of their home

Its really good. It did take me a few minuets to work out you have to click on the icons. I feel like it should say it. I feel like there need to be more rooms to the place.

Edit: it kind of worked? I looked under my bed and got a mask popped up. So Im wondering if I have to be on a ground floor for this to work?

It only shows me my camera, it tells me to look around and well, I expected to find an object or one of the band members sitting around my house you know? And I got real excited. I've been looking around my house like an idiot and nothing is happening. COME ON GORILLAZ STEP UP YO GAME. DON'T RELEASE AN APP IF IT DOESN'T W O R K.

Doesn't work , just opens my camera , and nothing happens, I expected a bit more after reading 10pages of user agreements

Its a Gorillaz app and that's cool right off the bat but all it does is open my camera and tell me to take a look around...Where am I supposed to look around at for the app to trigger something?

Works great apart from the VR section where the images are out of sync in both my Gear headset and Google Cardboard. They need adjusting. Apart from that, house rocking good!

i couldnt get it to work that was disapointing was looking ford to seeing wat it had in store but i walked around my hole house and property and got nothing i dnt knw if its got to do with my parta the world or wat but it dnt work for me

Opened it up and the app said that my phone didn't support it which is obviously wrong because I can view 360 and my phone also has motion tracking

Not so great. Spent like 10 minutes looking for Murdoc in my bath but he was nowhere to be found

Cool app! I couldn't get it to work on my tablet but it works perfectly on my phone. It's neat to see what each member's room looks like!!
