iParadox – Alarm Control

Great to use to arm, disarm and bypass zones. However the app shuts off and if there is an intruder or an alarm going off it does not notify you. It only notifies you when you log into it that there was an alarm. A bit late if you not linked to an armed response unit. Especially if you travelling abroad this would be great to be notified as it happened. Come on guys surely you can resolve this issue!!!!

Can overcome licence error by turning off wifi and using 3g. ##### Licence error is even worse now after latest update. Never mind resolved! Would have been 5 star if not for this. ############### Great app, but for some reason the new release disappears from my S2 every now and then and I have to reinstall at least once a week. ************* SOLVED: New release does not like to be installed to SD card. Moved to phone memory and all is well.

It's outdated and provides the bare basics. There must be better systems out there. Unfortunately I'm stuck with it as I have the MG5050 alarm panel.

app is good but I can't access it when I'm not attached to my home Wi-Fi which is a huge problem. won't allow me to set alarm even when I'm using my own data...

Paid nearly $1000 for the security system and I have to pay for the app as well!!! It should have been free with the security system... would be good if you can integrate it so it works with smart watches too ...saves me taking out the mobile phone every time i have to arm or disarm the alarm... After the latest update I can't connect remotely to my alarm system anymore....it's useless

With nearly 100 clients linked on this app, it is a master piece. I have encountered all of the errors and poor reviews mentioned and can confirm these always relate to networking issues: router or device configuration, never the app or the IP150 module. One new feature which will be welcomed: why not a home screen panic button that will allow the user to trigger the alarm's keypad panic, direct from the app?

So expensive alarm system and when the alarm rings. I am not getting notified. We live in 2017. These thinks are easy!!!

Very poor app for the price, especially as it should be free with the alarm module. Limited functionality making it almost pointless

All in all after reading reviews I was scared installing all of that I have but there is no way to convince me that is not worth or that application have many bugs. Once in 3 years I couldn't log into my house remotely.

Paid for app with absolutely no customer support direct from paradox. Myparadox home server does not refresh ip even with dyn account. Works intermittently at best

I have been using Paradox for years, however they discontinued i Paradox support which was a main selling point going IP. Without this functionality I will look elsewhere for my alarm needs. Very disappointing.

This is a good app when you are logged in, but it would be better if the app did push notifications to notify me of activations, not relying on my neighbors having to phoning me. Please sort out the push notifications. Cheers

Urgently required an upgrade to cloud services that doesn't require port forwarding and setting up is done by scanning QR code, as it done with other brands

Only works when I'm on the property on local WiFi.. Otherwise no licence error. Poor app, don't waste your money

I already paid a lot to install the alarm, why do I have to pay to download the app again?... also, does it mean all my family members have to pay $30 each? That's crazy...

I can only connect to my alarm system if I am using my home WiFi network. Makes no sense!

Can no longer connect via PMH DNS to my alarm system. It's not a networking issue as I can connect via a browser and a 3rd party app - just not the iParadox app which I had to pay for!

Wasted so much money to buy this rubbish app. I want a refund. Please people it just stops working. Do not buy it

Cant believe you charge for this, should be free for the end user. Definitely going to look at selling a different system to clients now...

Soooo unreliable... time outs, random can't connects etc etc...

One star until somebody at Paradox can help me rather that just telling to talk to a distributor who I don't have. I PAID FOR THIS APP! Support what you sell! Your PARADOXMYHOME will not allow your IP tools to register a site ID and so this APP and my whole system cannot be used. It just gives me a mystery error and tells me that I can save it to my drive and try it later, but it has been days now.

tired of reinstall and reconfigure app due to license problems. it is not a cheap one !grgrgrrr

App does not run in the background as mentioned. It disconnects automatically within 30 seconds. Even though we have IP and GSM module, but no way of knowing if there is an intrusion. Our installer told that app will give ring, but app logs off automatically. No direct support is provided even to installer. They have to go thru distributor. Distributor does not have time to support reseller. Very bad service.

Version 1.4.23 "No valid license" error is less frequent!!! Took forever but it's a bit better. Whoever is responsible, thanks. It's a start. Works great as a portable keypad. Text could be bigger, there is lots of usable real estate available. Number of pages / tabs could be reduced. Lots of wasted space on each page. Too many clicks required to get out of app. App desperately needs exit button.

The app has worked without problems. After the update bypassing of zones does not work. Zone labels remain loading... And then the app crashes and exits. Update 5 July 2016: bypass problem fixed. App working fine again. Update 25 July 2016: App does not connect at all after latest update. Completely unusable at the moment.

Aug25, App can't connect to ip150 module no matter how many times it's un/re installed. No response from app developer!! Now it's WORTHLESS!! Aug 2016, updated Evo192 FW & now the app crashes when connecting to my system. Uninstall and reinstall. Issue with false Licence not recognised warning still appears 90℅ of the time.

As for a paid app, I do not get what it supposed to do. No valid license error makes this app unusable.

Very buggy and unresponsive. Better free alternatives out there. Expected more from Paradox. Edit: testing new version now.

I have this app for my house in Slovakia. Problem is, that its not stable. Very often there is some troubles with: time setting, "time out"is app's nick name, IP module is off or impossible to log in. Now i found an alternative and look...original is not working but alternative YES. I have no idea how its possible:-(

Does not work anymore. Always says connection time out. Other free apps work fine, I would expect a 15$ app to at least work. Is an older version more stable perhaps?

Worked ok for a couple of weeks, now worthless as always get connection timeout error. So paid a lot for an app and alarm system that is practically useless for me as I need to remotely connect to turn alarm on and off due to dog being in house who is scared of the button beeps when using it manually.

Must be logged in to see alarms which is just useless. Fine to Arm and disarm remotely if you forget and also to see which zones are open/closed. For this app to be of any benefit, future versions need push events / alarms.

App works as described. Have no problems. Must remember though that if you change email password, you must also change it in the paradox site…

Receive licensing error everytime I use it. Most of the time used on local LAN. Bypass zones do not always load. When selecting to bypass a zone it does not always accepted.removes bypass with no warning causing false alarms

I've been using this application for some months now, and the July update crashed everything... I'm no longer able to login... Connection timeout.

This app frustrates us. We require access to manage false alarms when not home and then it just hangs for ages. We tried to contact Paradox who won't confirm any server issues. What is going with this app? We have re-installed numerous times and still it just hangs and loads and then crashes.

How about using the GPS locale on the phone if it comes within 5-10m of the home base give user option to automatically disarm
