About PRSmusJuke Network Music Juke
PRSmusJuke is a music player that makes all the music on your network appear local to your Android TV, cell phone, or tablet.
Stream, upload, and play tracks, albums, playlists, and favorites with one touch.
PRSmusJuke uses Samba and supports aac, ac3, flac, m4a, mka, mp3, mp4, ogg, wav, and wma audio files.
Connect to your network attached devices through wired or wifi connections.
PRSmusJuke automatically downloads missing metadata, including album art, from MusicBrainz.com or Discogs.com.
Sort your collection by artist/album or album/artist. Display small, medium, or large album art optionally with artist name or album name. Skip to an artist or album using the alpha index.
The album art's border dynamically changes colour to show you what is on your device (green), what is streamable (yellow), and what is offline (blue).
Filter your music by genre, decade, year, favorites, and shares and optionally show only online content. For Android TV installations with multiple users, filtering by share lets you see only your music.
Random play function plays all of the music in your current filter.
Create playlists, add new genres, search MusicBrainz.com and Discogs.com for new album art or upload from your network. The edit function lets you totally customize your collection.
Search your collection by track name and artist optionally including your current filter.
Android TVs use the TV remote or wireless keyboard for full control of the app including click, double click, and long click.
Cell phones can optionally use motion sensors to control the player and album display. Shake up to display the Player. Shake down to hide the Player. Flip through your albums or tracks using a left or right shake. Easily pause or resume playback by flipping the phone screen down and back to screen up.
Use earphone controls to play/pause and skip to next or previous track.
Select the destination for uploaded content to either internal or external memory, or an external SD Card.
Drop tracks, albums, favorites, or playlists in the Upload Queue to upload now, or later if you are not connected to your WiFi network
Music already on your phone is seamlessly included in your catalog.
Setting up shares is easy. PRSmusJuke lists devices attached to your network. Select a device and drill down to your music directory. Save the share and run the scan.
See newly scanned content in the Scan Log.
PRSmusJuke hides duplicate material showing you what is online first.
See individual duplicate content in the Album Edit function.

This app is exactly what I needed! I have a huge album collection that I've ripped to my SMB (windows) network (LAN) through many, many years. My collection is massive. This is the only app I've found that works on an Android TV Box and can access my LAN. My TV Box is a part of my home theater system so now I have a Juke Box connected to my high fidelity theater sound system, and I can play all of the music that's stored on my LAN. It's heaven. PRSmusJuke offers a nice graphical Juke Box interface for selecting and playing my albums and singles. It navigated my network very quickly and easily and didn't choke on the size of my music folder. This app builds a local database of the music it found on the LAN. This database can be edited and organized locally which is a very nice feature. It doesn't change anything on the LAN. Using the app is very easy and intuitive. It's graphical so you can see your albums sorted by title or artist. You can add singles or entire albums to the queue list. You can create playlists, etc. I have another HDTV + high quality sound system in my outdoor bar by the pool. I will soon add another TV Box with PRSmusJuke there as well.
