About Origami Heart Tutorials
When it comes to making origami it seems that making an origami-heart is one of the most basic, if not the most basic, piece of art to create. It can easily be made with just a few simple folds and it looks great. So why would you want to make an origami-heart and what would you do with it when it is made? This is a good question as many people seem to not see the point of making an origami-heart, much less anything origami at all. These works of art are amazing and many people who started out making simple hearts now have pieces of their art in museums all over the world, in fact, this is how I came to love origami, and this is also how I came to make my first origami-heart.
It all started a few years ago when I went to Japan with some of my friends, I knew very little about the culture except for all of the random useless information that I was told by people who have never even been to Japan. I also know nothing about origami, just that it was little shapes made with paper. When I got off the plane I noticed that there was a museum nearby, after my friends and I ate we decided to check it out, to try and get more of a feel for some of the art and culture of the country we were in, after all the old sane still rings true, "when in Rome, do as the Romans."
We stepped in to the museum and it was a museum dedicated to the art of origami, within a few minutes of being in the museum I was in love! It was so beautiful so beautiful in fact that I remained in the museum for hours, long after my friends decided to leave and get a hotel. I could not help it, there was everything that you could think of, gardens, mini cities, statues of people and animals, all made out of origami! There was a small section of this museum in which you could make your own origami creation, I decided to give it a try and the first thing that I made was, can you guess? An origami-heart!
From this point on I was done for as far as my love of origami went, I visited the museum three more times before we left and each time I spent hours looking at the same stuff because I could not quite grasp the concept that a person was creative enough to make it all. To put it all shortly, I have improved greatly on my skills with origami and it is all thanks to the origami-heart that I made that day in the museum. You always need to start off small and if you want to, you can always end up having your own creative works of art displayed in a museum where you can easily inspire others to do the same.
