Origami is the art of folding paper to form art objects. Origami originated in Japan and has existed since the 17th century and developed throughout the world since the 19th century. The art of origami continues to grow and never fall in popularity.
there are several types of origami, among others:
1. Origami Moves (Action Origami)
Origami not only consists of silent objects, but also some can move. Usually origami movements are helped by hand to make movements such as flying, flying, flapping, jumping, or opening the mouth. Examples of popular action origami are origami frogs that can jump if the back end is on tap, airplane or secret weapon of ninja that can fly if thrown.
2. Origami Modular (Modular Origami)

Moist paper is more easily shaped by more flexible geometry than dry paper. The skills of wet origami artists not only fold but also form surface objects such as beats and bulges.
4. Origami Pure (Pureland Origami)
Pure origami is a kind of paper-folding art with strict rules that should only use direct folds. This origami type was developed by an English origami artist named John Smith in the 1970s to help origami people or people with physical motor limitations.
5. Origami Tessellations (Origami Tesselations)
Tessellation is the art of forming a tile arrangement in a two-dimensional plane so as to form a regular plane. Origami tessellation is the art of forming a tile arrangement using paper that is folded in such a way that it produces a regular plane.
6. Kirigami
In traditional origami art unknown the term kirigami, the term kirigami itself was only known in the 20th century. Kirigami is an art of folding and cutting paper to form a motorcycle taxi. Some people include kirigami as part of origami because of the similarity of the name and the presence of the paper-folding element to this art.
