ToMarket Grocery Shopping Pro for Android
Switched phones and I cannot upload the back up from the last phone. It's discouraging to start over again.
Love it. I join in hoping someday for the ability to collaborate with others, Sometimes the person making the list is not the one shopping. Multi user interface, or some kind of syncing, possibly cloud..
This app can be a basic grocery list or add extras as you like. Features like aisle numbers, price comparisons this app does it all very well and it's never crashed. Would love it to sync to phone or backup to Dropbox, can't get that to work.
Very slow process for type search and select item.
Good app
The latest update fixed some problems from the 8/18/2015 update. This is still the best list manager I've used, and I've tried a lot of them. Works flawlessly, lots of great options, and has worked perfectly on every phone I've had.
Replaces the beloved handyshopper from the Palm days. Most used feature is the aisle numbering and sorting. For some reason no other app seems to get it to work quite right like this one. Could use an updated look/feel, but still nothing better.
Possibly the best shopping app, but still missing key features: cloud sync (at least cloud backup) for multiple devices/sharing; coupon prices and cost adjustment; simpler, smoother remove from cart design (1-click?), smoother item creation, and pricing; better history viewing; maybe color dots in each item to represent associated stores. Not much improvement in quite some time, but still the best shopping app & offers many important features not found in any other app.
We are using this app for a couple of years, and we really like it. The only thing missing is a possibility to sync multiple devices. Email or text are not so handy when one makes the list and passes it to the other, who's actually shopping. Hope a key feature like this will be added sometime.
I use category for what room it's in at home, and aisle at the store. I find that very convenient. Not the prettiest program, but it works well for me. I'd love it if I could edit lists on my PC and sync seamlessly back and forth. Either web or Windows app.
I was a windows mobile user, now I switch to android because this software. After a while I have almost 2000 item in the database it slows down really bad. (((REMOVED))) using sail form now on.
Seems the major issue is when you want your list moved to a new phone or device I want to move this app from my phone to my tablet sine the tablet is easier to see and will make shopping easier. I did the export but on my tablet it reports file not found even when I direct to the export file. If this ever get's address then perhaps you would get another 1.5 stars. The website offers no real help and unless I missed it no support contact I could be wrong but i'm angry as well.
ToMarket has been my favourite ever since I converted from Palm HandyShopper. Now I find out it's sluggish on Blackberry 10, I feel bereft.
By far the best shopping app available! Great to use for any type of lists. Allows for making it very simple, or customizing to categories, isles, stores, or whatever you need.
I have been using ToMarket for a couple of years and I love it. Flexibility in the settings is outstanding and enables me to use the features I want without navigating through things that I don't care about. Very very efficient app to use.
Great useful app. Lots of options and customizations for lists.
Great organization and lots of options for different lists and stores.
Store List is now black text on a dark gray background, making it practically unreadable. And the aisle text entry is still white text on an off-white background, also unreadable.
Excellent
Like HTC Evo 4G, long time user of this great app having issues with latest versions. My prob is same, accept I can see search results by collapsing keyboard - they just seem to be pushed off of the screen. I emailed dev. Hope the problem is addressed.
RECENT PROBLEMS! Been using ToMarket on Android since 2010 - have loved it! But I've had real issues with version 1.7.50 and 1.7.52 - first that the icons defaulted to large sizes, which has never happened with an upgrade before. Fortunately, those were an easy fix. But I'm still having issues - whenever I enter a string in the search box, once I get beyond two characters, my screen goes totally black, and I can't see whether I have any hits or not. When I go back, the item I was adding IS there, but the search process is a mess. Can I go back to 1.7.40 some how? It was perfect...
Tried them all over many years znd this is simply the best.
Love that it can be as much or as little detail as I want
I was so pleased I could import from handy shopper on my old palm tx. This works great. - 4 years later and don't know how I'd get on without it.
Happy camper again its working perfectly again , thanks to the swift responses from the developer and improvements made. They have found the perfect solution for the problems reported. Thanks
Please update to material design as this app, while still awesome, is becoming more difficult to use on larger screens with newer versions of android, 5.1 here. Still the best shopping app for android period. Has many other uses to keep track of list or collections. Keep up the great work Dev!
Used TM Pro for many years- glad to see development continue.
The latest update fixed some problems from the 8/18/2015 update. This is still the best list manager I've used, and I've tried a lot of them. Works flawlessly, lots of great options, and has worked perfectly on every phone I've had.
This is the best and the most customizable shopping list for any mobile device across any platform. It is versatile. No other shipping list can compete with ToMarket.
This is great! I finally am cured of wanting my old, defunct HandyShopper back! (I had some problems, but they were my own fault. Looked for the menu button in a fixed place, like the title bar, couldn't find it. When I tried to use the menu button to scroll the list, it opened the menu. Forehead slap!) Amazed at all the options available under Tools/Preferences. Easy to back up lists, create lists, etc. Have a list for shopping, which using Stores can be filtered for groceries, hardware, even on-line. Also have a list to use as a checklist for things to prepare and take along when I travel. I expect I'll find other uses as well. Well worth the price. --Above comments apply to app on my Galaxy S6 with Lollipop 5.0.2 Same app on my Galaxy Tab4 with KitKat 4.4 does not display the menu button. I can get the menu with a long press on the Android Recent Apps button, but it took a long time to learn that. Now I wish only for a way to sync the S6 and the Tab4. Yankee Exile
best shopping app that I tried. I tried many in search of a shopping app with a web interface and a resizable widget. Especially the web interface would be nice to sync with and some nice apps have this. But I find ToMarket the best in functionality. Sometimes the reaction on tapping an item from needed to the "all items list" is just a bit slow in my experience on my Nexus 5. In the past with a slower phone it was a real problem, now I can live with it.
I feel like I've tried them all, and while some of them are prettier than ToMarket, none came anywhere near having all the features TM has. Edit 2015-04-22: Has this app been abandoned? No updates in a while and the website seems to be inaccessible.
Loved this app, but on my new phone there is no way to access the menu button or restore my lists of many years. Another case of technological 'progress' forcing me to spend time redoing something I was perfectly happy with. Methinks I will go back to pad and pen.
Was great app, but on Galaxy Tab 3 it takes fifteen seconds from when I choose an item until the item is placed in need and the screen returns to list. Unacceptable.
Hasn't been updated in nearly a year. There's no way to apply coupon discounts (how to you write a shopping program and forget that?). There's no indicator to display which items are taxable, and which are not, which is essential if you live in a state with complex sales tax laws, and you're trying to figure out why your total doesn't match the store's. I've been waiting 2 years for things like this to get fixed. It appears the author has abandoned it.
This is one of the best shopping list apps, but two things cripple it: first, it doesn't provide ability to sync between devices or sync to a browser cloud app; second, it does not adhere to current Android design standards and offers no menu button which cripples the app for users with newer devices.
This app is such a time saver, but I have run into a problem with my new Note 4. I am unable to bring up a menu as I could with my older android devices. Most notably, after completing my shopping I am forced to remove items from the cart one at a time.
I've been using this app for several years now and I have become addicted to it. One of the best apps I use regularly.
Used TM for many years, but with basically no support for the last 2 years, I'm finally dumping it for rShopping Grocery List which IS continually supported and works fantastically.

Loved it, relied in it. Cannot keep list after changing phones...398 items....too time consuming to redo for 3rd time, after 4 hours of trying to figure out why list won't transfer to Samsung S7edge. Glitch in program gives an incorect error message. Sigh.
