Petra Guide

This app is my go-to guide for touring Petra. Yes it takes one minute (exactly) to load while not multitasking but if you can't focus on an activity for one minute that's a different problem really... After it loads you get access to a wealth of well researched information in clear language. It is so refreshing to have this material available to individuals at their own leisure (without pressure). It is also very clearly spoken and intelligently researched. An indispensable accompaniment to a world wonder.

Not usable. 1. Opening the app takes about 5 minutes while a message is displayed "loading data." If the phone locks then the app locks and you must start over. 2. On the first load it needs to download data. App must keep focus. If you open another program then the program quits and you need to start over. 3. The display must stay on when listening to the audio. Petra is huge and takes easily 8 hours to see the highlights. Not sure how many people can keep their display on while doing this.

I made it a point to download the 'entire data' as suggested beforehand. I was impressed by the quality of the commentary. However when I used my phone camera, as one is wont to do on a sightseeing trip, the app stopped. Been trying for the past 3 hours to get it to work again but only getting error messages. Giving up now. Another annoying thing is that every time the display switches off, the commentary pauses. I'm not watching my phone, I'm seeing the sights while listening to my phone.

It is a comprehensive guide to petra, it sure gives good informarion about all attractions we saw there. I strongly advise getting it before going to petra. I used english version but it is avaulable in french,spanish,arabic and chinese...wooow

Works sporadically, but not at all when at Petra itself. Waste of time and money

The data file is giving info about a perfume museum....
