Nelnet

The new version seems to be not an app at all but just a link to mobile website (same as if I logged on through android chrome - I just don't see the url window at top of the screen). That is the only reason I'm giving 3 stars, not more. The mobile website is very well made, and nelnet has actually been very helpful to me in dealing with these loans I wish I'd never taken! (Hindsight...). I don't see the use of an app that is basically just a bookmark for the mobile site, as I find the mobile site to be very good just accessed through a browser.

Messages don't load. Had to end up signing in through a browser anyway.

Doesn't have anything that you can't do from the website. Same interface and everything.

Although I'll have my loan paid off this month (April 2016), I open the app and it tells me I'm using an unsupported our out of date browser. This is very comical and I'd even say insane since I'm not using a web browser but an app. Thank goodness I'm making my final payment so I'll be able to off load this app from my phone.

The problem is how stupid college loans are, not the app. Charging more than an average year's salary for college loans? That's crazy, I actually regret going to college because of it. But yeah, at least I can pay all my money to the department of Ed efficiently with this app. Gotta pay it before it grows.

Garbage app. Robot on phone is beyond awful. I'll pay my debt but you guys run a shoddy organization. Should have known the second a robot started demanding info without the option of speaking to a human.

I've been using this app to pay my loans just fine for over a year now. All of a sudden you made some update and it won't even load the login page. WTF PLEASE FIX.

what's well. Don't understand the issue others have especially since you can go to the browser and do everything on the computer. I use the app for convenience of knowing the due date/make payments not for anything else. I use my PC for the rest.

This app is pretty much garbage. Freezes up, won't navigate, I went to two screens, it locked up, I couldn't even log off, but their website is about the same quality... so can't say I'm surprised.

Can no longer pay with a credit card. Not everyone is lucky enough to have cash in their bank account at all times. And now my credit is in jeopardy just because I can't make the occasional credit card payment!

The inbox is hard to find. When you do find the inbox, you can only read the subject and not open the email. However, it's nice to be able to send payments from your phone.

It's a shame when Nelnet used to have a handle on what their customers deserved. Ruined website, now this app??, not to mention the statements that aren't legible anymore due to tiny font. This app won't even load on my phone. Just a white blank screen. Is this a joke? What has happened to Nelnet?

Downloaded app & went to log in, but App says "unsupported browser." Seriously?? This is your own app! It should be able to access your product

God awful. Just wanna make my payments and get my tax info but the app is so buggy that's its near impossible to do that.

There are days my passwords works, and days my password doesn't. There are days I only have to enter it once, and many days that I have to enter it multiple times. You want my money? Fix the problems.

Complete garbage. Tells me i need update my information, and then says undefined address1 in a box on the, i hadnt enteted any information yet, and the box wont go away and i cant work around it. But what else is new from the department of education.

I am not able to see any of my documentation. It froze when I am trying to go to Home page

Incredibly difficult to comprehend change over time in what you owe. And they wouldn't have it any other way

The app doesn't have an update and my browser doesn't have an update, but the Nelnet app say that my browser is out of date, bull. I made a payment in the beginning of June 2017 and still haven't seen it taken out. You guys suck. I don't have internet at my house, so this is the only way I can pay minus calling, but I don't have time to call and be on hold for who knows how long.

It won't work for me, say my login information is not correct

I have had issues with this app for FAR too long now and finally came here to leave a review to see if something can be done about it. Hopefully if enough people complain they'll fix it. Can't view any messages in Inbox. Takes me straight to a snapshot overview of my loan details. Now, app won't load! I have to call if I want any information on my account because Inbox messages aren't accessible through PC either...what is going on??

Just use the website. This app is no good.

Cant even register, says info does not match record. What record? Im a new user who cant sign up.

Worthless, it's just a glorified link to the mobile version of their website.

Helps me stay informed and update any info that needs to be updated. Just downloaded, so I'll update rating if need be later.

Does not store login or allow me to use fingerprint. At least make the app use features that make it more convenient than the website..

I tried probably a dozen times to apply for income driven forbearance and it would constantly take me out of the application to a different link and I'd have to start all over. I eventually opted just to use their website. The app has potential but needs a LOT of work.

THE PAGES DOESN'T EVEN FULLY LOAD AND I CAN'T READ MY INBOX MESSAGES! WTF? THE OLD APP WAS BETTER. PLEASE FIX THIS. I WOULDN'T WANT PAYING MY LOAN TO BE A PROBLEM ESPECIALLY WITH MY DEBIT CARD BECAUSE I WILL BE PISSED IF I GET LATE FEES FOR LACK OF YOUR PAY OPTIONS. ADD THAT DEBIT CARD OPTION PLEASE!!!

Good to look at but won't take mobile payments. What's the point? Says payment received and this is before due date, then later I get emails about past due bill! Fix the app and stop perpetuating people's debt!!!

It's better than the old one in that I can see more detail on my loans, and so far, hasn't crashed on me like the last one. However, I HATE that I have to update my email every time I log in. Every. Single. Time. Fix that!

I have to reset my password every time I log in. Its a pain.

Everytime i use it, it makes me type out my ridiculous password TWICE

Thank you for fixing the double login issue. this is a good app for managing my student loans.
