GripApp for android for Android
This a great app
This app has the potential to be a very useful app. Months later they still have not fixed the tiny pictures, nor are there any descriptions of the use of the tools. If you added this plus some nicknames and instructions on how to use the tools, you'd have a killer app and id totally give a 5 star rating.
Please update
You really need a search function as well as larger images.
Good
I had to ask for a refund 15 mins after I bought it. The dolly section froze on the Fisher 9 package and wouldn't let me even view the other dollies available. Too bad, as a new dollygrip i'm still learning a lot about each dollies kit & grip gear for lighting set ups. Half of the subcategory gear pages don't load. It crashed 3 times since downloaded. It's a shame, it's so slick on my key's iPhone, And I would use it all the time if the android version didn't make me want to pull my hair out.
I only see dollies. FC quite a bit. Back button won't take me to previous page. I'll uninstall then reinstall to see if it fixes anything. Nope still the same issues.
Needs to have larger or zoomable pictures. Also, descriptions on every item of what they are generally used for. Adding those would make it worth $6 and I would start recommending to colleagues.
Nice. Zoomable pictures would help make this an awesome app.
Not the easiest app to lay out I guess, but all the info is there if you look for it. Bigger pictures would help too.
The pictures are tiny. And can't zoom in to see what I'm looking at. The equipment names could be more comprehensive, as there are alot of nick names in the film world, these not included. Very basic app.
Had this on my iPhone and honestly was quite sad when I switched over because I no longer had this app. Can't wait for the lighting app because seriously that was the app I used more. This app is great for anyone in the business even if you are just a pa. It's good to know the tools on set this way when someone asks you always look smart with this index at your fingertips. Had a problem when I first downloaded the app and it working on my Note 3 wrote to the developer and it was fixed the next day!
I was expecting more than just spec list.I wanted to know what each tool does.

Great app. It would be really nice if there was a note section that allows the user to put in there region specific names for things. Due to the fact west coast and east coast call things by slightly different names. Thank you and keep up the good work.
