This is one of two WiFi on/off apps that I installed. The color of the app remains constant whether WiFi is off or on and, at least with my phone, pressing the app takes you to the Wi-Fi screen where the on/off toggle must be switched to the on position. (Simply pressing the app disconnects you from WiFi.) What I like about this app is that requiring that the user switch on WiFi enables the viewing of the list of available networks, which you may remove or edit, or to which you can connect. I appreciate the thought that went into the development of this app, which works very, very well.
