About Memorion Flashcard Learning
What is Memorion?
• an ads-free, universal flashcard learning program
• based on an advanced 'spaced repetition' algorithm
• 10-50 times more efficient than memorizing paper flashcards
• has FREE vocabulary in 21 languages built-in, 700-1200 words each
• has many, many functions (see below)
• similar to SuperMemo, Anki, Mnemosyne, Memrise or AnyMemo, but with games added, better statistics, more editing functions, better configurability and more
• it has extensive help functions, the user interface is English only
What is Memorion NOT?
• an all-in-one language course
• a 3-button-wonder to just learn 50 words for the next vacation (like 95% of all other flashcard apps in the store)
• the simplest program in the store (it is just too powerful)
NOTE: Memorion can become addictive, once you start feeling its power
Functions:
• pre-made flashcards with vocabulary in English, German, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, Brazilian, Dutch, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Russian, Slovakian, Bulgarian, Polish, Ukranian, Arabic, Persian (Farsi), Turkish, Hindi, Gujarati, Nepali, Swahili, Khmer, Chinese, Czech, Serbian and Latin
• 7 fun game modes (hang man, multiple-choice, listening to numbers,..)
• true multi-directional learning
• up to 8 text fields per card (to use for gender, examples, extra images, web links etc.)
• millions of card stacks can be downloaded from Quizlet, StudyStack, and SuperMemo
• designed for large databases (I have >20 000 cards in mine), with multi-level sub-stacks
• 27 charts to document learning progress
• multiple-choice, whiteboard, keyboard and audio-recording as answer options
• wizards for image searches, photos, audio recording and translations
• import from PalmOS SuperMemo, AnyMemo, text, MS Word, and Excel
• fully integrated dictionaries from the Open Dictionary API Alliance (PONS, SlovoEd, etc.)

Super ! Knocks the spots off of every other available app, including Quizlet. So many ways to customize your flash cards and create professional-looking cards. Lots of import options ! (and export/backup) .Good games which use an intelligent delay/repeat mechanism to ensure stuff gets committed to long-term memory. Nested card stacks, fully customisable stack appearance for each stack or inherit from a parent stack, text to speech, night mode, images, audio, weblinks etc.etc.etc. Just too much to list here. And its all in the app, unlike Quizlet. There are 3 levels of user: beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, so that you can learn all its features gradually and not be overwhelmed by all the options. This app deserves to be advertised on TV !! If my kids were still at school/college/uni, I would happily pay to buy them all a copy.

Great app to take care of many cards and alter the settings to get exactly what you want it to be. You should know, that you can spend a lot of time going through the manual though. But it is totally worth it.

Once again, developer gave fast response and dedicated app support. I accidentally deleted the app but was guided patiently how to import backup so I didn't lose any progress. Bravo!

I originally gave 2 stars but that was probably too harsh. The developer has obviously gone to a lot of effort to make this app. For language learning I normally use Anki, which can play audio files for each card. Memorion has a nice clean interface, but it's not for me until downloaded decks can play audio files.
