The Mahasainik- Mitra App is a user-friendly app for the Ex-Servicemen of Maharashtra State. It describes various Welfare Schemes available for the benefits of war widows, widows and children of soldiers, who have died in harness and soldiers disabled in service. There is lucid information about the documents needed for various matters. The Welfare Scheme includes many concepts like- health insurance, hostel facilities for military boys/girls, career prospects, etc. The app provides updates on different initiatives taken up by the Department of Sainik Welfare, such as- establishment of Pre-Cadet Training Centers, Services Preparatory Institute, Scholarship Schemes and things related to these ideas. The flow of the app makes it very easy for the Ex-Servicemen to understand and get acquainted with the content.
