Muvi K-Series

The app rarely works on my Samsung S6 and when it does it's so laggy. It's only good point is downloading your videos/pics to your device through the wifi is relatively painless. Come on Veho update this app as your camera is really good

I need to return the camera because the app is useless, continously crash, and cannot preview or download a picture or a movie from camera. Sad thing that a bad app can ruin such a good camera.

This is a terrible app. The camera is great but this app lets the product down. I like to edit on the go on my phone so would like to download the images and videos straight to my phone via the Wi-Fi. But the app keeps crashing. The image quality via the app is terrible too. Veho, you need to sort this. The product as a whole could be amazing but we're being let down.

Unfortunately this current version is awful. Slow to load, choppy playback, zero editing abilities, application freeze, loss of connection between WiFi, no sense of the way user friendly, and totally ugly. Just to name a few negatives. But when stuck with lemons, gotta find a way to make some lemonade. Android version will take a pound of sugar. ios version is day, this version is night. ATTENTION TO ALL PROGRAMMERS ENVOLED. PLEASE REVAMP ANDROID VERSION!!!

Absolute gash. Try to get your footage from the camera onto your phone via the app...you can't it's impossible. Contact veho support and they just say we are upgrading the app... Very helpful NOT

Kept freezing and was therefore totally useless. Picture quality for the brief moments it worked was very poor even when in direct line of sight over short distance.

Useful for making sure you have the camera set up in the right place but I can't use the app to record with or watch video though. The feedback lags too much.

After months of hoping this company would give some indication they care, i have not seen any. There rating has dropped to a 2.1. Way to go veho.

So... Am addition to my previous review, and unfortunately the news isn't good. Previously I had said: "Just bought the camera for my birthday and so far am feeling a little underwhelmed. App either doesn't connect or crashes and the lag is bit annoying. Half tempted to return it and get another make. Please change my mind and fix the issues" I'm afraid to say nothing has changed. Love the camera, but the app hasn't been developed at all. Come on Veho, invest in some development, as it stands it's the one thing that let's you down.

Come on Veho this app barely has any functionality. Start and stop recording and laggy video feed. Only really useful for framing the shot. Camera user manual hints at greater functionality for iPhone app. Another example of corporations bowing to the Apple clones.

This app does not match the quality of the K2. You'd be better off removing it. Very disappointed in Veho's approach - you'll never get GoPro market share like that.

If I can get this working on my Blackberry Passport then anyone can use this app! Yes it's a bit laggy and yes the app is rather basic but I can use it as a view finder so I don't need to spend £40 on the additional LCD screen and I can also download the files straight to my phone! 5* with a GUI update and more importantly the lagging! K1 synced to my BlackBerry Passport - app downloaded from Play Store. Oh and you can use the rather impressive digital zoom from the + and - on the phone screen! Bonus!

Watching video fro camera is painful to the ears and eyes. Cannot delete from scars easily. Why don't muvi improve this app as clearly everyone hates it. I would not buy a muvi again.

Very laggy ,does let me play back video. Also have to buy a seperate $40screen to watch your videos, everything about the camera itself is worth the money spent , just sucks you have to take out SD card evertime to play a video

Just got the camera. I can not get the camera to connect to wifi. It says connected to phone but no wifi. Nothing like looking at the connect screen when you just shot some cool pics with the camera

App is pointless.. i wanted it to access my media via wifi but it cant even do that.. makes the wifi functionality useless.

Terrible! No access to the recordings. Only way is to remove the memory card and plug it directly into a pc or other device.

Works really badly. Needs lots of fixing to get running stable. Usability would be ok if it would work.

About as useful as a chocolate teapot. Only use to set angle of camera if you don't have the LCD rear display. Better still guestimate your composition. The settings within the app are limited so just learn how to adjust settings via the 3 buttons. In general the app hangs often, if I try and download it often gets stuck then corrupts the file. I can't playback through my device via the app, instead I swap the microSD to view direct, I can then upload to Dropbox easily over night if needed.

Camera is awesome, while the app is just horrid. I bought this as it can stream to the phone.. too bad the streaming is absolutely terrible. Along with the horrible grammar.... C'mon, fix this please.....

Got the camera for Xmas and used for first time today. Camera great so far but as others have said real time viewing is impossible as get green screen or lag. Then couldn't find recordings anywhere on app. Had to remove card and insert into phone to find them!

I have the VEHO Muvi K2, I love the camera, it's a top bit of kit for the money, but this app is about as much use as a pork pie at a Jewish wedding! It's next to useless and no reflection on the quality of the camera itself. Blow for blow the Muvi matches the GoPro but the app lets it down.

This app is useless. I have tried about 10 times now to download my holiday pics/vids to my phone and have had no luck. It downloaded about 3 videos in appalling quality and even that took about 45 mins!

Can't say how much I love the camera! Really good quality and so many features for a small camera. The app lets it down so much. Only got it to work once. Unreliable wi-fi connection, break up on downloaded files and inability to find newly recorded video and taken photos. Would be great if these glitches could be fixed as it is such an excellent little camera/video recorder.

Laging video is a downer but the live feed on your phone is best used to see where your camera is pointing. Center your shot without removing your helmet before racing down a hill. Be sure to turn down the volume on your phone to avoid the sound feedback loop. Be sure to log out the camera's Wi-Fi on your phone and restart camera or the recorded movie file on your SD card may get corrupted from too many programs running at the same time.

This app is next to useless, yes it connects to wifi and yes it allows you to record a movie but try and get it off the camera. Not a chance in hell. I have to remove the card and download all to a tablet then copy to a pc as non of my pcs recognise the card either. Using windows 7, 8 and 10 same on all.

Shockingly poor App. Barely functional, wont connect regularly, extremely poor refresh and very limited functionality. Manual shows different App but as reported, this one stays in landscape which is completely unsatisfactory and very limiting If you want to use your mobile device to control the camera you use: get a GoPro! Veho clearly are not going to resolve the reported issues and I think this tells you what you need to know about the level of support you can expect from this company. Very disappointing! Especially as the K2 was a present

I've tried the app 3 or 4 times now and it continues to freeze up. Stops responding. Camera is great but the app sucks big time. If you have that many bad reviews, then perhaps it should be taken down.

Yes it works albeit a bit laggy as others suggest. Very limited functionality, the instruction manual for the camera suggests it can do much more than it can, perhaps they relate to the IOS version. Main use is to download recordings over wifi, not much else configurable /available.

When trying to play your videos back it jumps to the point it's almost pointless. Good points are you can set an angle on your camera before you start recording but this also lags. Picture transfer works well but again video won't transfer onto your phone and when they do again you have jumpy videos. Such a shame because the camera is brilliant, just a terrible app to go with it.

Can't do anything with video as keeps saying no internet when try to share as the k2 wifi blocks everything then locks if not connected. Cant save to ipad what a wadte of time. Camera is great but interface sotware ks kak

Please update the lagging. It also makes it super hard to review and download photos to your phone. Time wasting and non efficient.

Very unintuitive and does not make it easy to operate the k series. No instructions and a lot of the marketed functionality such as editing appears to have been removed. It feels like the bare minimum amount of effort has been put into the app which is a shame because the camera is good.

As an app developer, I am an unimpressed with the app. Having the app with the camera was to be a nice feature/selling point, but this is not in anyway a positive for the camera. Throw this out in the community and let the community help develop/improve it. It might help sell cameras.

How can a company that makes such good action cams make such a car crash of an App? WiFi connectivity is hit and miss (mainly miss) and when it finally does connect to the phone the App lags, freezes then crashes. A complete mess. This is why people buy GoPro.

Very slow. And can't get the photos or vids of the camera using the app, which is the main thing I want it for!

The app is sluggish and when you have recorded a video to transfer to your phone it just stalls constantly. The camera is great but you need to sort this app to compliment the camera

Maybe they don't care about their reputation. If they'd at least say they are working on an update maybe they'd do better than a 2.4 rating.
