GTU SPI Calculator is a lightweight and intuitive piece of Application developed specifically for the Gujarat Technological University (GTU) of India, providing you with an easy means of calculating your SPI,CPI,CGPA and PER(%) for each semester.
The application is fairly simple to work, featuring a basic and straight-forward interface with four Buttons, one for each function, namely 'SPI Calculator' , CPI Calculator , CGPA Calculator and PER(%) Calculator', so you can switch between them with ease.
SPI stands for 'Semester Performance Index', applying for the current term only, CPI is the abbreviation of the 'Cumulative Performance Index' and uses the grade of the current term as well as past terms , CGPA = cumulative grade point average in 1 year there are two semester average of every semester is known as cgpa each semester wise mark is known as sgpa whereas PER(%) is tends for how much percentage you get in particular semester with GRAD.
In order to calculate either of these two averages, you will need to have a complete set of information regarding the grades on all the subjects that you studied.
In the case of SPI, you need to input the 'Grade' and 'Credit' for each subject, supporting up to 12 different ones. You can then press on the 'Calculate SPI' button and the utility will display your 'Results in SPI', 'Total Subjects', 'Backlog', 'Earned Grade' and 'Percentage'.
On the other hand, if you wish to calculate your CPI, you will need to have all the previous semesters' SPI, then input them in the assigned fields. You can then click on the 'Calculate' button and GTU SPI Calculator will display the 'All Over CPI', 'CGPA', 'Percentage', 'Total Semester' and 'Earned Grade'.
To conclude, GTU SPI Calculator is a useful and handy Application that can spare you from having to calculate your 'Semester Performance Index' , 'Cumulative Performance Index' ,'cumulative grade point average' and 'percentage', by doing all the heavy work for you and offering you accurate results for each average.
