Activity Timer - Productivity

I will happily upgrade to 5 stars if the issues I outlined in an email to the development team are addressed. Cannot report issues via the app as it causes the app to crash. This app would be ideal for children and adults dealing with conditions like ADHD and Autism if the alarm sounds issue can be resolved. I would like to recommend it to doctors, therapy offices, and group websites as a parent resource, but only when/if issues are addressed.

There's a bug in the app. Let's say the timer goes off at 20 min. If you click the "start" button agan it will add a new 20 minutes plus the time since the alarm went off to your log. Fix this and I will give you a 5 star rating.

I tried to report the issue that I was getting no sound when the timer was through, but the app crashed every time. So I visited the apps site and sent an email about the app crashing and no sound when the timer ends a few weeks ago, but still no response. I am using Android Lollipop 5.1

Timers aren't fancy. I just want one that works. This one does. I like the the visual part. I am giving it 4 stars because of the alarm sounds. I have to use what comes with it? I would give it 5 stars if I could use my alarm sounds.

Excellent timer, user-friendly, superb tool for ADHD challenges (clinicians can recommend to clients). Two years later, and still using and loving it.

Doesn't always ring on time. Not reliable. It's unfortunate because I loved the three color concept...

It is perfect for setting up different timers for different grill or smoker temperatures.

This app has enough rough edges to deduct a star, but I'm giving it a full five stars since it is the best app in it's class. The dial is easy to read, configurable, the color changing feature is great... Now, if only I could remember to use it more often. My dream feature is Tasker integration, to start and stop timers programmatically, and to allow timer events to trigger other actions.

I set a timer for 20 min to clean the kitchen. Just, I thought it would set the rotator to 20 min, but I had to manually set it. Want it to go from one task to the next automagically.

Doesn't work with zedge tones

My son has ADHD and this is an invaluable tool in our toolbox. I only wish they could make a stand alone timer that could work this well! So many options! Love it!

I love the concept of this app and if it worked correctly would give it many more stars. But I cannot hear the end alarm at all. Have played with settings. Interval alarms work fine, but the end alarm will not ring, whether the interval alarm is set or not. Kind of defeats the purpose of having a timer if you don't know when time is up unless you are watching it...which means you are likely not doing the activity you are timing. is this in the process of being fixed? Every attempt to contact the developer is blocked as well...app fails when reporting an issue and cannot seem to send a msg on the support page. Will update rvw if fixed.

I've played with over a dozen timers and settled on Activity Timer as my daily work tool. The newest version has many graphic and functional options, including whether the clock shows the beginning, middle and end of a specified period in different colors OR the clock is all one color which changes as the time-remaining shrinks (my personal favorite, and the reason why i use this timer over others). Lots of uses for this handy gem. I use it to break difficult tasks into manageable chunks, and see at a glance where I am in a committed work period. Helpful for adults and kids with ADD, autism, procrastination, etc. New customization features and LOTS of sound options help make it your go-to tool. Developer was super responsive to a request I sent in email, and even checked back with me to be sure it fit the bill. 5 STARS don't come easily from Ms. Persnickety...

Indeed I've suffered from the app's bug reviewer Norlimon writes about. I must add it has a problem when you answer a phone call . I mean, I need not only visual, but sound timer also. If timer is silent, I simply do not look at it and the help with time passing sense is lost. But since the app is installed in my phone, I need the sound to stop when I answer a call, it doesn't (WhiteNoise does it, but does not have visual timer) :(

I use this all the time to help my 6 year old manage time.

I work work with kids with autism, and this is a great and convenient visual timer for them. Makes transitions easier, and I've never had a problem with it.

Extremely basic. No memory between timers. But it's the only app I found so far that comes close to what I need. Feels like a student project.

Very easy to use, colors are appealing, works great to help stay on task

This is a certainly better than most timers out there if you have ADD/ADHD. I like how one can visually see time passing and the option of sounds at intervals. It could be a fantastic timer if splitting time into intervals could be more customizable other and incorporate a routine builder that could show a text cue at each interval. Also, the interface needs to be cleaner... either show list of your timers or the timer face but not both, otherwise it defeats the purpose of using a visual timer.

Great except goes quiet when ring and notification volumes of the phone are low. Don't like that part as miss alarms that way.

Suggestion: should be allowed to use personal music ring tones.
