Phone/tablets say "Playing", and nothing comes up for picture or audio. The other versions like the HD version (like the newest - Mobile) play w/o any issues. But i miss the speed of this app on my quick menu from lock screen. The other apps do not get from program start to picture nearly as fast as this one had in the past. Uninstall did not help. Plz fix.

P2P works flawlessly on 2.4ghz and 5ghz WiFi. Once I switch to AT&T 4Glte, I get server unavailable. If I let the app sit in the background, it will eventually connect after 7 to10 mins or so. Please fix the streaming issue over 4G network.

"Server unavailable" messages. Deleted and re-installed on my Android phone and tried port 8000 (Stan Larson review below) instead of 9000 (Youtube tutorial) but got "user or password error" messages. Continued messing with it and now getting "locked user" message. The app works fine but no camera views at all.

Only ever worked once after weeks of trying nightmare laview mobile app 100% deadly worked straight away so much easyer to use delighted with it

I have had this system for over a year now and it does not work. I got it to work one time for a few days... but it just says server unavailable or plays but the screen is black. I've been through every YouTube video and instructions on their website and nothing works. Also downloaded all three of their apps in none work on my S5. Wish they would update to fix or something :(

It doesn't always work and I've tried it in the different phones, it also take a while for the cameras to load. Use another app by the same name it works a lot better.

Tried differents apps and so far laview is a solid app and viewings is no smooth but it works at all times and has real customer service support.

App works some of the time. Most of the time the app says the video is playing but it just shows a black screen.

If you get a blank screen after it successfully connects, and it says 'Playing', download the LaView Mobile App from Google Play... Much better app, and it will work!

So I just needed to use it for the first time in a while, and no pic. Says playing, but nothing. And I see by a Jan 9th 2016 review that it hasn't worked for almost 7 months?!? and because of the last update?

So far so good. Surprised on how quickly the app starts. Overall no issues, waitng for PTZ camera to arrive to check operation.

Does not work all the time on Samsung Galaxy S5.. I get a blank screen after is successfully connects. Only way to solve it.. sometimes.. is a device restart and or clearing the cache partition. Please fix it. Otherwise, a great app. Thanks

Doesn't work. I got all the settings correct and it claims it's "playing" but nothing shows up but a black window where the cam should be.

I can connect but no video ever shows up for me i never had this problem before can someone give me advice how to fix

Ever since the new Android update 5 this app no longer works. It used to work great... now it doesnt show video and any history playback no longer works either. Will it be updated soon? Ty..

I found that the latest version fails to work with Android 5.0.1 on a Note Edge or 5.1 on a Nexus 6. It connects to the DVR and shows "Playing" but the video never shows. Works fine on a HTC running 4.4.2. Other than that issue, it does the job. Setting it up is a bit clunky, but not insurmountable. I can recommend it.

I got a new phone, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and I can no longer use the app to access my cameras. Very very disappointed in this!!!! Need help/ want fixed asap!

Does not work at all on my droid turbo 2

Tried to connect with the local IP address and got server unavailable. Talked to support and was advised to use Laview Plus for my DVR

Used to work on my kitkat but not lollipop all black screen's now please update app

I tried everything. All my ports are open on my Verizon actiontec router. The cameras all work great locally but the app refuses to connect and show video. This shouldn't be rocket science. I am ver disappointed.

This connects to my home system perfectly! However on my wifes phone it doesn't work. I would recommend this to everyone who has a laview system.

I'm really liking this system ! going by the reviews I was expecting something worse but latency is not a problem at all ! My internet connection is 45 Mbps. maybe that helps. I am using it with 7 various Android devices simultaneously one right by my head. I used to sell these systems, and this one is excellent for its price!

It was working good with times of freezing up on cameras. Now it wont load says server unavailable. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but still not working.. need fix!!!!

Recently, App crashes frequently during playback and shuts down. Playback speed is fast, not normal. Reinstalled several times, without correction. Any ideas? Droid 4. **12/9. No change.**

Company is slow to release updates. This and the HD version stopped working since lollipop was released. Not working on my nexus 5, nexus 7 or nexus 10.

Server unavailable...seems like this is an issue they have had for long enough to figure out a solution, but no...

*Update* i thought that disabling nuplayer solved my problem but the issue still remains. Streaming has been hit or miss on 5.0. Finally able to get the streams to work on android 5.0 after disabling the "use NuPlayer (experimental)" option under development settings. Now the app works just fine again. Still could use some updates and improvements to get a full 5 starts. Also the broken English and terrible Chinese translations on all the LaView products can really get frustrating when setting stuff up.
