LaView NET HD

I'm sad to say that this app no longer works on my new phone... Google Pixel XL (Android 7.1). It was working with my old phone, Samsung Note 3. Now I need to find a 3rd party app. I gave it 5 stars when it worked.... But took away 2 because it didn't support my new phone. I hope they update this app one day.

Crashing on Android 7. If you have new phone or tablet with the new android 7 on it, this app is useless. Laview doesn't care about this problem at all. No updates so far.

After latest android software update. Program will not open. Suck to pay so much for security and app doesnt work

Very good

The app has a lot of features, but it is not very user friendly. Picture quality is quite good. You need to make sure that you download the correct app for the correct product. There are many different "LaView" apps in the app store, some which may partially work with your DVR/NVR. It's not abundantly clear initially which app to use. The P2P connection shows low-bit rate video "fluent", but if high bit rate "clear" video is selected, it stops after a few seconds. This is resolved by using the NVR IP address method instead of using P2P to access. It's quite difficult to get alarms and alerts working. I had to set the same alarm several times and restart the phone before the motion alarm alerts were displayed on my android phone. Alarms/Alerts only work when connected in IP mode, not via P2P mode.

No longer works since android updated

A lot of people knock these cameras because of the app. Me personally, I've never had an issue with them. And if I have had to contact tech support, as in the case of utilizing system features to clarify the picture quality, or assist with configuring the app, they have been expedient and assisted me until completion. If your having an issue with the app, contact tech support and they will help you until the problem is resolved.

There is a 1 minute delay of real time motion. Even on the local LAN. When trying to use this app to adjust my cameras, I'm having to wait 1 minute before the position change is seen on the camera!!! What if someone is knocking on my front door while I am in bed? I have to wait 1 minute before the cameras show who it is!!! Is this a bug or how the app works? My cheapo zmodo system before this was real time!
