Our wedding day is one of the most significant days of our lives. Various cultures have different traditions for the dresses they wear.

Indians have very colorful wedding gowns. Bright and lively hues are the characteristics of an Indian ceremony. Indian bridal wear is all about different patterns, beautiful and ornately designed dresses, and sarees. In a traditional Hindu ceremony, the women mostly wear exquisitely designed 'zari' sarees. Indian women look enchanting in a Saree complimented by gold bridal jewelry. Blue, maroon, green, yellow are popular colors. These days, some women also wear shararas, which are long, finely-decorated, floor-length skirts, coupled with matching blouses. The men can wear a dhoti and a kurta, a kurta salwar, or a stylish sherwani. In different regions of India, they dress differently, but these are the most popular outfits. The Muslim ceremonies are beautiful and colorful. While the bride wears a colorful ghagra or salwar kameez, the groom wears a silk kurta and salwar. Sherwani is a popular in all Indian weddings.
