Horse Weight & Feed Calculator

Calculate a feeding regime for your horse or pony using this simple calculator. Equine nutrition and energy requirements can be difficult to calculate especially if you don't know the weight of your horse. We provide three separate methods for calculating a horses nutritional requirements and tools to help estimate your horses weight.

Calculator 1 - Use this calculator if you have an accurate weight of your horse or pony (from a weighbridge or similar)

Calculator 2 - Use your horses girth and length to calculate the weight and in turn the feeding regime. We provide instructions on how to make these measurements.

Calculator 3 - the least accurate method that uses your horses height and relative weight to make an approximation of weight with which to calculate the feeding regime.

All calculators take in to account the amount of exercise that your horse or pony is doing and provide calculations for hay, haylage concentrate and grass.
